Anyone playing us in the next few weeks will win - we have no idea how to play against bottom-end sides.

Tbf I liked how you looked yesterday as individuals. Its as a team you got it wrong.Dack is quality and you have a fair few talented others. If anything you went defensive too early and defended too high up the pitch. That's tactical. Both goals were balls played behind the back line.

If you had come out at us and used attack as the first defense rather than letting us play on the ball I recon you would've had that game sewn up

Trouble is, our two best defenders were out yesterday, meaning we had a left back covering right back and a midfielder at centre half. No-one really knows what our best midfield is anyway (Bar Dack and Wright), which at this stage of the season is a bit criminal. We've ballsed up so many points just this calendar year from being too defensive on a lead away from home (2-0 up at Wigan and Doncaster, ended up with one point from both, plus yesterday) - it's got to be a psychological thing.

I think we are pretty much gone. Too many draws recently and the defeat yesterday was damaging with tough games coming up. Us and Col U better start looking up directions to Newport and Morecambe.

Looks like the bottom two are gone. Then two from the next six. I'm reasonably confident we won't be one of them though too much can't be taken from beating Crewe. I was though a must win game and win it we did.
Anything from Gillingham will be a bonus then Blackpool at home a week tomorrow is another biggie.

Now we have got the monkey off our backs and got that vital home win, coupled with the glaringly obvious upturn in form, it means March is where our league status in 16/17 will be defined:

Oldham vs Port Vale
Oldham vs Swindon
Oldham vs Blackpool
Oldham vs Rochdale
Oldham vs Chesterfield

5 extremely winnable home games in a month.

Shit didn't realise we had 5 home games. Knew we had a backlog but not that many home games. That's attendances even further down the pan. Good job I've got a st

Our away form puts us 6th in the table. Pity we have no home form.

11 from 15 now. That's promotion form. I knew shez was a better manager than we have seen this past year but it's ridiculous the effect he has had and the upturn in fortunes.

Huge game for us tomorrow at Colchester. I'm going (local game for me living in Essex) but can't say there's much confidence going into this. Will be my third trip there and seen 0-0, 0-1 and always a terrible game.

Sides around us have tough games tomorrow so hoping we can crawl back out the relegation spots - not holding my breath though....

Fleetwood's next 6.....

Coventry, Gillingham, Sheff United, Burton, Walsall & Barnsley!

Wow!

Other than the points they will pick up against us, that's an absolutely shocking run for Fleetwood. If they get more than 5 points, they have overachieved.

They'll get something off us too. We don't play well against the bottom teams away from home.

There's no such thing as an easy Shrews win! We regularly turn up and end the longest of loosing streaks of our opponents.

As the saying goes, a fool and his money are easily parted, I do hope you saw sense on this one.

Looking at Town's last eight games, unless there are a good number of points gathered between now and then it's almost certainly bye bye to League 1. Our fate probably being settled before the final game at Swindon.

Our last eight games.

Walsall (a)
Wigan (H)
Millwall (a)
Bradford (H)
Sheffield United (H)
Gillingham (a)
Peterborough (H)
Swindon (a)

Disappointing not to win today considering we were 1 up with a couple to go but I'd have taken a point before the game.

Good results for a couple of other teams but still in touching distance. Gotta be happy considering

Well, with 2 defeats in their last 2, Crewe are joining Colchester in League Two next season. Not even bothered. Colchester could only draw with Shrewsbury whilst Crewe lost to Barnsley. So, thats 2 spots wrapped up. As for the last 2, very tight at the moment, 2 from 6 by the looks of it.

Oldham got a reasonable draw away at Scunthorpe, but they'll need to improve on their dreadful home record if they want to stay up. 4 home games from their next 5 gives them just that chance, some very tough games amongst that though. Shrewsbury probably missed an opportunity by not beating Colchester, they too need to get better results at home otherwise they'll be joining the Us and Alex in L2.

Blackpool continue to slip into trouble, another home defeat for them. Huge game away at Chesterfield on Tuesday. Fleetwood are slowly dragging themselves clear, good win away at Coventry and now have back to back home games at Highbury, where they are pretty solid. Tough few weeks for them. Chesterfield made it back to back wins with an excellent 3 points away at GIllingham, only the 2nd team to win at Priestfield this season. As already mentioned, massive game for them at home to Blackpool in midweek. Donny are still finding it hard going, no wins in their last 7 now. They should have enough to stay up, but it looks like they'll be in it till the end.

So, Crewe and Col U all but down. Just a matter of when, not if. Who fancies joining us? To be fair, all 6 options are northern based, so I'm not overly bothered. Would like to avoid Donny, don't like going there, we always lose. Any of the other 5 will be just fine though. Feel free to decide amongst yourselves, I'll wait.

Don't think you have given us the credit we deserve there. It ain't over yet, with still a lot of work to do but shez got the monkey off our back with a first home win in almost 6 months. Unbeaten in 6 now with what is play off form.

At the start of the month we were 8 points adrift. We are now 1. I'd currently take being us over anyone else in the bottom 8

Blackpool and Fleetwood would be most welcome in joining us. Not a huge fan of the Chesterfield or Shrewsbury trips, dread going to Doncaster every year and bored of Oldham.

Opted for Draw/Shrews double chance but it doesn't matter because Coventry are tossers are done us both no favours for different reasons..
