Don't bite. Its not even subtle, funny or clever what he's doing, just ignore him.

So because I haven't thrown in the towel re my club's fate I'm deemed a troll?
I suppose if I were to predict Lge 2 fare next season then that would be an 'acceptable' comment, huh?

To be brutally honest I'd like Crewe to stay up as its a decent away day and despite Crewe fans wishing hell on the Vale in the past i'd rather have that trip than say Oldham but could be interesting if we could send them down after some of the stick we've took over the years from across the county border!

I very much doubt you will. Even if we lose to you, we'll still have 5 games and a maximum of 15 points left to play for. I doubt we'll be 15 points adrift of safety at any point between now and the end of the season. We'll more than likely go down, but I think it will only be after we've played you.

To be fair you'd no doubt stop us equaling the club record 16 home games unbeaten instead!

Table looks better this morning. 2 games in hand with both teams still to play and only 3 adrift. I'd have taken that in January. In our hands again

Now the forum makes perfect sense. Do it to make it seem like they are appeasing the fans, removes any possibility for one in the next 12 months to address the biggest issue, which of course is the massive loss we've just had. Although, I do hope that the end bit of that article is true, that if the club do get into difficulties the directors will dip their hand into their pockets and keep us afloat. They better, because any mess we get into is their fault. Their fault for pinning our future on selling a million pound player every other year, their fault for not having a plan as to how to replace Davis, their fault for not sacking that useless div by now.

I hope they know what they are doing, next season is possibly the biggest in our recent history.

3 wins in 16 is real relegation form, if we had hit our annual bad patch a month earlier we would be in trouble.
I can't see where our next win is going to come from, the confidence is shot and the players are putting in half arsed performance every game.
I was a bit tongue in cheek but by god we are shit at the moment

We're gone if this useless wally doesn't get the boot.

Scrap that we're gone anyway but will go down on our current points if we don't get rid now.

Virtually everyone of any significance lost this week so not all bad considering. Expected a loss today so not overly disheartened although the result suggests we weren't even at the races.

Decided to eliminate Shrewsbury for now, they have a 10 point gap and its hard to see any of the bottom 4 making that up on them any time soon.

Chesterfield got smashed by a rejuvenated Walsall. Temporary set back? Tricky game against Scunny next up, then 2 relegation 6 pointers against Fleetwood and Oldham. Fleetwood lost to Burton and 2 more promotion chasers next up for them. Going to have to hope their strong home form can carry them through. Donny lost again, but due to results going their way, remain 2 points clear of relegation. Got the fixtures coming up, have they got the quality though?

Blackpool lost, but now have two 6 pointers this week. Massive week for them. Oldham got smashed by Sheff U, their game on Tuesday is huge. Crewe tick off another game along the way to relegation. A win next week might make things interesting, but their next 5 after that are all well out of their reach, so, as per, its a matter of when, not if. Colchester couldn't hold onto a 3-2 advantage against Wigan and they are also league two bound.

No change with the bottom 4, are we any closer to working out who is following Crewe and Colchester down? Huge 6 pointer on Tuesday between Oldham and Blackpool.

Wouldn't say we are any closer. We won't be closer for a while I get the feeling this thread has now become all about us donny and blackpool. The others are realistically clear barring a monumental cock up, or already down.

I wouldn't even say we are any closer after Tuesday. A win would do us both the world of good but at the end of the day it's only 3 points. Lots more to play for between now and seasons end.

Agree it's a massive game though

I'm not concerned about the opposition on our day we are easily a midtable team it's getting enough of them to be arsed at the same time. Our form is by far better than the other teams around us

Whether we stay up or go down we will see a huge clear out in summer

It will be us and Blackpool.

Just to put things into perspective, we are closer to the end of the season than we are to our last wins. We are gone.

Shite day for us yesterday for a number of reasons but thankfully results elsewhere were not damaging.

@JJ532 - bit hasty taking us out of the reckoning in my opinion. Whilst on a good mini run we are more than capable of going 6 defeats on the spin. I'm still looking down rather than up!

Only did it because you are 10 points clear. Will take at least 2 weeks before you are properly back in the mix I think. Its more about the teams below you than you yourselves being out of it.
