Indeed, it’s a brilliant set up which keeps on saving us. We need to be eternally grateful to HG and his family, and to be fair the council and our local MP have pitched in as well.

Well Hardy has told Radio Nottingham that the sale has gone through, though I'm going to wait til I hear something from the new owners before I celebrate or head down to ML to buy my season ticket.

New owners could still seek a CVA which would effectively be admin and a 12 point penalty. Let's see how this progresses

Do like that statement. Lots of ambition but at the same time recognition this season will be a struggle given the preparation we've had. Will be down the Lane to purchase season tickets first thing Monday.

Great news!

Now just try and remain patient with this league, because it won't go according to plan in the first season because of how long its taken for things to get sorted.

But after a years experience, I see no reason why Notts can't bounce back within 2 years as you should easily be able to get most of the better players in this league and learn how it works...........providing no one bankrolled appears............

Aaahhhhh. And breathe. Really feared the worst this time, better news than a promotion. Love Notts, would never find anything to fill up my spare time in the same way as the mighty Pies do, couldn't be happier.
Sounds like they're sticking with Ardley too which is a massive plus for me.

How many owners have you guys had in recent years? The club seems to change hands every other year!

Anyway, good news. I look forward to Alan Hardy's goodbye interview.

I'm assuming Hardy's debt is no more (combination of sale price and him writing the rest off) and that just leaves the club debt that Hardy took on when he bought from Trew?

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
Great news; I was looking forward to games against old Div. 4 opposition.( yes , I am really that old). I wouldn’t wish admin, or worse, on anyone, it’s a traumatic experience( we are on a hat-trick!) See you at the Rec.

No idea. Hardy seems to have used company money rather than personal money to loan to Notts but who really knows? There was talk about th purchase being debt free but that certainly won’t have happened

Sounds positive. Not just a bunch of asset strippers or over inflated egos.

Might Notts County have struck lucky?

Do these new guys have enough wealth to seriously back County? The overheads a club like County will have makes the conference all the more harder because all the funding gets cut.

A few years down here usually results in youth academy’s shut etc.

Hard to tell - Football Radar isn’t worth that much relatively, but they’ve got companies and investments in Denmark as well, so no one really knows what they’re worth.

Keep a closer eye on these guys, don’t let £2 tickets blindside everything else!

Tough season to come I reckon but the most important thing is the immediate future of the club is secured, mind you still got some really good players in that squad so you never know.
