Just epic.

Think they'll be too good for either Barnsley or Bolton regardless, but even more so now with this momentum. They've saved their season, likely Championship bound afterall.
If Wednesday to go up at least they're likely to achieve in the Championship unlike some others

They have an ageing squad and therefor will require a fairly big squad transition. So I disagree, nor really understand what you're basing this on other than blind guess work on their summer activity.

Also, define achieve. We certainly won't be too far from the playoffs which I'd happily take for our first season.

I might stop laughing by Christmas. That is genuinely one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. Thank you Wednesday for this glorious night haha.

Wow.

Just wow.

I never expected that, I said to my mate if we got an early goal I said they'd fold, they sat back and I can't be the only one who sees the irony of a Ferguson complaining about added time

Define some others? Seeing as the options are us, Plymouth, Bolton or Barnsley, I’m intrigued as to who you’re referring to.

What a night that was! Thought I'd give the game 15 minutes or so and ended up emotionally exhausted 3 hours later after a comeback for the ages.

Well done Wednesday and well done the fans who turned up and were unexpectedly treated to the night of their lives.

Great interview with an emotional Barry Bannan at the end. He mentioned the racist abuse Darren Moore had predictably received this week from a small section of the fanbase, and dedicated the win to him. Sad to hear but what a way to shove it back in their faces.

Wow Peterborough with a choke that the Boston strangler would’ve been proud of.

That was amazing. I was willing Wednesday on to win. What a game to watch.

Won nothing yet though- need to enjoy this but get focused for the final or it’s all for nothing.

Well done Wednesday - thoroughly deserved.

Don't know why Posh fans are complaining about the added on time.

The injury at the start of added time was 1 minute 47, and they scored 1 minute 11 I think it was after the 6 minutes. Some people forget its a 'minimum amount of added time' not maximum

A sub got made and there was an injury too.

Anyway not sure anyone can blame others for blowing that sort of lead.

Wasn’t like they had men sent off or there was some awful bit of bad luck .

Any indication of ticket prices for the final yet or is it too early? The championship ones are pricey but I’d expect Wednesday and either Bolton or Barnsley to pretty much sell out.

Hell of a game, the Luton/Sunderland and Wednesday/Posh games have been the stand-outs so far, the L2 first legs were awful.

When Wednesday click, they click, just like last night and it looked like men vs boys at times (and on average age, it probably was).

The last two games basically summed up Posh for years now, they're as likely to dick someone 4-0 as they are to have a brain fart and lose 4-0.

EDIT - I thought the Coventry/'Boro games were high quality, just not exciting.

What an astoundingly excellent advert for League One football that was, and also for the play-off system. Of course, Wednesday have thoroughly deserved to go up based on their performance throughout the year, but, I suppose like Notts in the National League, of whom the same is true, they couldn't help but sow a few doubts they would manage to do so along the way.....even if it's not over yet.

Both Bannan and Windass, especially, are absolutely a cut above most players at this level. So it's fitting they have a good chance of getting promoted out of it.

I agree. With that momentum they’ll be very tough to beat. I’d rather lose tonight than go to Wembley to lose. I think Barnsley at home tonight will probably have too much for us anyway. They were miles better than us at the weekend.

You would probably expect a bit of a raid on Posh now, particularly Mason-Clark, Poku & Taylor.

Think JCH only has a year left? so a Championship club or richer L1 club may take a punt on him.

Think that Joe ward is out of contract too, who I wouldn't mind here, impressed me when I went to London Rd the other season.

Wouldn't go near any of their defenders.

You’d take Ronnie Edwards. He’ll play in the prem at some point IMO. The rest aren’t great mind.

Hopefully, we are still waiting for our sell-on fee

The ‘only’ thing that would have been funnier would have been Wednesday being awarded a farcical and totally unfair non penalty. Still, I will settle for Posh being total bottle-jobs.

Just need Barnsley to win tonight and it’s been a very decent set of results in the Lge One play offs.

Was saying to a mate last night that if Ipswich can go in at HT 2 goals up I reckon they’ll do it, it’s not impossible. Didn’t actually think they’d do it though.

Absolutely huge congrats to Wednesday. Even I was celebrating that 98th minute goal.

Football is pretty class isn’t it?

Yeah quality player, as sf said mason-Clark poku would be worth having from higher up the chain, personally I like us to push the boat out and jade-Jones, not getting much of a look in at pish and I could see bonner being good for him.

KTF.

Hasn't stood out when I've seen them, with teams reverting to back fours again, after the 3-5-2 fad, he seems too small and easily bullied for a higher league, only 20 though.

Yeah I meant the rest of the defence aren’t great mind. I really like the look of mason-Clark too.

The higher up the leagues you go the less it matters IMO. He’s really top notch on the ball… so would suit a possession side. I’d take him in a heartbeat. Only young too so plenty of improvement left in him. Would be expensive though I assume.

Not in the Championship for me, even free-flowing Burnley had two big, physical centre backs, all be it, they could play too.

Deliveries from dead balls and from out wide are consistently good, and a centre back who is under 6ft and not very imposing is going to get bullied more often than not. We had Ben Davies who was rapid and class on the ball, but any decent target man hung on his shoulder and got change out of him.

Only seen Peterborough a few times though, so maybe i'm doing him a disservice in terms of how physical he is.
