Proud of the lads, it wasn't to be but it's been a great season and we gave a good account of ourselves today. If only we hadn't have given ourself such a mountain to climb, ah well.
All the best to Tranmere in the final, been better than us over the two legs and deserve to be promoted.

That was a lot tougher than Wednesday! I was genuinely worried we were going to bottle it for a while, when we were inviting Aldershot on to us and giving you acres of room. Fair play to your fans, glad they got to see some fight this time round!

You were never getting reffed out of it. You'll be reffed out of the final though, the Conference bigwigs want their big day out at Wembley with a good attendance but need all the big clubs they can get in this league.

In the least patronising way possible, I think the Aldershot fans and players can be pretty proud today. Would have been easy to fold after going down 4-0 on aggregate but it turned out that they were only a Scott Davies wondersave away from making the last 15 mins extremely tense for us.

On the balance of both legs though, we were the better team and deservedly go to Wembley.
