We just missed a pen. We're the team dropping points tonight.

Terrible night for us. I think that's Derby and Ipswich in the Play Offs, can't see either us or Wolves winning all three of our last games given recent results, and given the goal difference, we'd need Ipswich to drop points twice.

We've mathematically secured our play off spot tonight.

What a fantastic fucking night, sounds like a great performance, each match standard goal from Sears, a cracking goal (of the season?) for Skuse and Murphy hits his 24th.... then Wolves and Brentford both lose.

3 points clear of 7th, effectively 4 clear of Wolves.

Great night for us, breathing space between ourselves and Brentford and Wolves. Still a hugely important game at Wolves on Saturday though.

Darren Bent's last minute goal on the weekend has absolutely killed us. Feel so robbed right now. Many people saying we'll come back stronger next year, but with Pritch going, Warbs going, and probably a couple of others, I doubt that.

Is Mick gunna make us agonize over a backs to the wall 0-0 attempt? I hope we don't play for that.

I bet he will. It's mostly worked against the other top teams though so I trust him to get it right.

True enough I guess, I just won't be able to cope if we get to 70 minutes at 0-0 and cannot get out our own half. Hopefully grab a goal.

In Mick we trust.

I think that's us done for tonight too. Mathematically we can still make it but I can't see us beating Ipswich, Wigan and Millwall, which realistically is what we need to do to stand any chance. Still though whoever does make the playoffs fully deserves to, every team in the top 8 seems very strong, and the teams who are battling out at the top are much better than the teams who were challenging last season IMO.

Knew we would lose tonight. Such a predictable result. For a manager who as proved as clever as Warburton, his call to rely on just one striker Andre Gray a rookie from the conference was a massive error of judgement. It is going to cost us this season as there is no way we are winning our final three games of the season.

Can somebody just bloody lose a game please. When did we all become so consistent?

Well for us since you beat us really but losing 6-0 against Norwich and that late winner for Ipswich is going to kill us.

Norwich weren't outstanding tonight but the quality just came through a couple of times. We battled reasonably well in the first half but had nothing when going behind. Thing is, virtually all of Norwich's players would get into our XI and that says it all really. We have a handful of good players but nowhere near enough to influence games or create. Very little pace or players capable of doing something special.

Seen better teams but still managed a comfortable enough win without playing at 100% so you can't grumble too much.

Friday night. Winner takes the Top 8 Mini-League title. And let's face it, who gives a shit about promotion this is what it's all really about.

Great results tonight with Brentford and Wolves losing. With our vastly superior goal difference, it effectively puts us 5 points clear of 7th.

That late undeserved equaliser against Brentford on Saturday appears to have been absolutely massive.

Tomorrow night is a huge game between Forest and Watford. If Forest win, we can afford to draw with Boro, and that will keep us in the top two after the weekends games, whatever happens in them. A draw between Forest and Watford should keep us top two as well, as long as we get at least a point.

Someone has to fucking slip up eventually. I've never seen consistency like it.

I still think both teams need a win on Friday regardless of how Watford do tonight. To give the buffer of losing a game later on as well as moving ahead of the other. For us, we need that buffer for when we lose to Fulham.

All sorts of pressure on Watford tonight. Forest would have caused them more problems a month ago when they have those playoff ambitions (and beat us!), so you'd fancy Watford to hold their nerve.

I agree, I think Watford will win tonight.

I know there aren't any easy games, but Watford (after tonight) and Bournemouth have three very winnable games left. Friday night is massive for both Norwich and Middlesbrough.

Watford 2-0 up against 10 men, looks like they've got this one in the bag.

Ended up being anything but!

Typical of us to look worse against 10 men - Forest certainly put in a good show though.

Least we won and helped our GD a bit.

Well, all that excitement in the shoutbox has caused our WFC forum to crash - the rollercoaster of emotions was just a bit too much for the server to handle after we went from nearly throwing away a two goal lead against ten men to wrapping it up 3-1.

Must be over now, great result even if we still couldn't quite get into 2nd.
