Can't believe how bad Huddersfield have fallen after that great start. West Brom are down :brill:
Wouldn't that be a shame though? With Wolves going up, there wouldn't be a black country for another season. I like derbies that don't happen often to well, happen more often. Southend/Colchester fall under that category too.

In fairness, our 'great start' was basically winning our first two games. After those we didn't win again until 21st Oct.

You have a point. I just find it funny how they have been lording it over us. If I'm being honest though, it would be great if we went up with wolves, and Albion stayed up. Two derby games for each of us.

I got ourselves, Swansea, Southampton, Newcastle all on 36 points, Stoke on 35, Brighton on 33 and WBA 30.

Imagine that final day...

I only had us winning another 2 games, but drawing 4, with 3 of those draws being against this teams mentioned... they're what you call 'must not lose' games!

This is a great relegation battle, because it really is a battle. Unlike many seasons, every single side in the bottom half (bar West Brom who are now all but gone) have shown some fight or decent results recently.

We have 30 points with 10 games to go, any other season you'd be thinking we're surely nearly there, but we're still only 3 points from 18th!

I tried to have a look at remaining fixtures but there's still too many to go. I did notice Palace though, next few games are Spurs, Man Utd, Chelsea, us at our place, and Liverpool!

Southampton are dank and are going down. Serves the board right for selling players for obscene profit and not putting it all back onto the squad

Stoke.

Although I think they’ll go down on points anyway but if it comes to GD then they’re in trouble.

They’ve just had a run of 5 winnable games and only won 1, drawing against teams just above them doesn’t do them any favours. They now have a tough couple of months.

If Everton lose v Brighton they are in the mix for sure and i cant see a worse team

just imagine Everton FC the longest serving member of the top flight relegated

this would be a major shock to world football

Couple of arse clinchers this weekend..

Newcastle v Southampton
Huddersfield v Swansea

Think only Swansea wouldn't be too disappointed with a draw of out those 4 teams.
Hard to predict what they'll be like after a 4-1 loss followed by a 4-1 win. Fully expect us to be well up for it, crowd certainly will be.
Burnley at home is an important game for West Ham too, could turn toxic if it doesn't go well.

Here's a more visual look at the bottom half:

I think anyone below Bournemouth can go down, and the only certainty is West Brom. Other two will be Stoke and either Swansea, Newcastle, or Southampton.

Everton are not the longest serving member of the top flight - Arsenal are, having been in it since 1919.
Everton have spent the fewest number of years outside the top flight in their history though at 4.

The way we're going lately you can chuck West Ham in with that lot.

Which is what i said oh and Arsenal are in by default as they never earned prmotion to the top flight.

You obviously have a different notion of what “longest-serving” is to me and the way Arsenal got into the top division is irrelevant.
However, I do think an Everton relegation is a possibility.

Well mine is who has been in the top flight the longest as in 'most served'.

And Everton fans accuse us of living in the past.

If only there was a 'Been In The Top Fight The Longest' trophy, Everton wouldn't have gone 23 years winning the square root of fuck all.

Hamburg would win that trophy in Germany.

The c*** has been sacked. About five months too late.

Hopefully he lands a Championship job next season so he can get some much deserved stick at St. Mary's next season.

Get in! How we aren’t in the relegation zone and cut adrift with just five league wins this season is beyond me, but it means we’ve still got a chance.

Please not another Puel or Pellegrino next, this is Les Reed’s last chance I’d imagine.
