Who's stupid enough to buy them though? Their wages would have to be, at least matched, so they're going nowhere.
Actually, they'll probably end up at our place. :(

Yes I suppose it's a case of pay offs or waiting till contracts run out. We had a similar situation this year not to the extent derbys wage bill will be but we had a good clear out.

I hope whoever your new manager is doesn't want Andi Weimann back.

As much as McLaren is truly pathetic I feel your main issue is having overated footballers who you will be paying fortunes too who are more than happy taking their money home without actually trying to achieve something at the club. A big clear out is what you need.
Nail on the head, but what CU said is also bang on.

It's all well and good saying they need a clear out, but why would they take a wage cut and leave when they're quite happy sat at Derby on a daft wage and not having to work too hard for it?

They need to sell to buy this summer because of the amount of money they've wasted in the last few years, but I think they'll really struggle to get rid of some of them. Players with big reputations and egos that have forced out a few managers now, horrible squad.

For Christ's sake do the sensible thing for once and appoint Rowett.

We need a clear out there's no doubt about that, we've still got valuable assets that teams will pay money for. We somehow managed to get 10.5 million pounds for Jeff Hendick last year so I don't think money is an issue.

It's the attitudes of certain players.

If Rowett can change that then crack on but I'm not holding my breath.

Rowett will probably get sacked in the not too distant future for not playing the 'Derby way' if the past is anything to go by

Thank god for that. Great coach, can't manage like all of Fergie's old staffers. Too late to save this season, just get the right man who can get us out of League One. Jackett, Cotterill, whoever! Update: Barrow till the end of the season, pretty much proves we've given up and are concentrating on next season. Fair enough.

Has a manager been sacked before on an 8 game unbeaten run? Could do with MM going soon!
Lincoln have won more games against championship teams since the turn of the year than us

We sacked Lee Clark on the back of 2 defeats in 52 games. A decision which was widely ridiculed, but one which without doubt got us promoted that season.

Who is Barrow? What are Wigan doing? It's like when Wolves sacked Mccarthy and appointed Terry Connor :ffs:

Derby are a joke of a club whos owners make mike ashley look good. Not biggest fan of the dutchman but could have given him until end of season. Its been a few days of sacking in the league and wonder who will be next. Could grayson go at preston? Nowt would suprise me now in football especially if a team had a foreign owner.

Derby are trying to sign our Director of Football too, looks like they're going for changes to their whole management structure.

Mark Warburton looks like the next man through the revolving door.

Doesn't make a difference, it would be the ghost of Cloughie, this club is rotten to the core.

He's our Alan Curtis or maybe Mark Lillis in your case. Part of the furniture here. Someone could stick a nuclear bomb at the DW and he'd find a way to survive. Long serving ex player and been part of coaching staff since 2009. He splits the fans because loads of people think he should have been sacked long ago due to the amount of gaffers he's seen off post Martinez. We wheel him out the closet at times like this when he's needed. He's better than Terry Connor though because he's already won a game this season, at Cardiff a few days after we sacked Caldwell. :D

Was done last night by all accounts but I think a 10/11pm announcement would have been even stranger.

Welcome Gary, good luck and enjoy our transfer embargo upon releasing our accounts...

Mark Warburton in at Forest - confirmed. A good appointment as Forest could have hoped for in their current mess with Fawaz still holding the fort. Really like Mark. Hope he does well.

Likewise for Rowett. Both chairman now must give them time

Paul Lambert is likely to leave Wolves after reports tonight. Paul Lambert wants to have the final say on transfers (and rightly so) but Fosun want Jorge Medes to be more involved with any dealings (that went well this season didn't it...)

Fosun would hire Vitoria de Setubal coach Jose Corciero if Lambert did leave...

In short, lets hire Zenga#2 and make the same stupid fucking mistakes we did this season. Can imagine a very angry backlash to Fosun if this happens.

Aitor Karanka now odds on for the job. Quite insulting to Lambert that the owners are already finding his replacement when they haven't sacked him yet.
