Someone did a couple of weeks ago and plastered the Smurf £££ stickers all over the village and put it all over Facebook.

Not too far from my neck of the woods in Leicestershire actually.

I’d be tempted to agree to the concourse stuff for now to just get the club and ground secured... then they can set up catering on the car park for fans to use and boycott the concourse!

Makes sense. I didn’t realise apparently he brings food to the games in the back of his car!

Interesting development on this ongoing situation is now the Blackpool FC Supporters Trust who organised ousting Oyston are linking up with Black and Gold and PV Supporters Club to mentor us on the protests against Smurf.

Ironic considering the clueless EFL gave Smurf Mr Oyston to mentor him!

He has allegedly claimed that he will withdraw all financial support for the club as of 30/4/19, leading to insolvency. This would lead to administration and possible liquidation of Port Vale Football Club according to him. He claimed the protests were causing this, and was going to announce it at the April Supporters Club meeting.

Surely putting us into admin will lose his investment and get the new owners we crave?

A points deduction would not hit us until next season Im assuming?

Total scum. How do the EFL continue to ignore this?

Liked with Gateshead but denies it so possibly? It’s a colossal mess and a hugely worrying time regardless as a Vale fan.

As B&G have pointed out also re the protests harming the club if Smurthwaite is going to tell bare faced lies about losing sponsorship deals he could at least have made an effort get his timeline right. He’s done a cracking job fundraising for the protests though, the amount raised has shot up in the space of 24 hours.

And speaking of his lies I wonder how his trip to “Hong Kong” went....
