3 world titles in 4 years, he's got that trait of being a ruthless, cold blooded champion like Hendry was.

Feel he could be set to dominate for years to come, certainly at the worlds with the longer matches. He's so good under pressure and coming from behind, it's hard to see anyone beating him

Awesome player, glad he won. He has a Hendry feel to him, dominant. Ice in his veins, any other player would have been rattled after that botched black ball contact call.

Selby's a monster.

I know he isn't everyone's cup of tea, I suppose like Hendry in the 1990s, but to come back from 10-4 down is a hell of a feat. Let's not forget he was playing garbage as well, as I mentioned in the thread before it got lost. Then, to go again after the Higgins mini-revival to 16-15, with that black ball business, just adds to the magnitude of the feat for me.

Speaking as one with a tendency to never chase a lost cause, I have nothing but the utmost admiration for him.

Yeah he's a great champion, and could become one of the greats if he continues this standard over the next few years.

Watched snippets some of the early rounds. Such as Mark Allens 5-4 win over Neil Robertson and Kyren Wilson`s quarter final. First snooker I have seen in ages. Didnt see any of the final did he play well?
