that's because I didn't know why the others had been banned. I believe my official stance was one of "if they were as bad as Smat, it's justified, but I wasn't there so I can't know". Though I did actually push for the admins to at least give an explanation or reasons for the bannings to try to defuse things before it all got out of hand... which of course, in the end it did.

I certainly did question the admin team though during the whole thing, but like most other mods most of that was in the mod cafe. Which you'll probably call bullshit on because that just looks like I'm saying "I did, but it was where you couldn't see it but it definately happened" but so be it. You've clearly made your mind up about the whole situation and myself and you don't look as if you're going to be willing to chance that stance.

Pretty much your typical non-entity of a Premier League poster on TFF under the guise of Bert_THFC, Dave has found a new lease of life after the switch-over. Dave is perhaps one of the most regular frequenters of the shoutbox, be it treating us to a vocaroo featuring his dulcet tones or complaining about how he likes no-one in his office at work.

Dave's main weakness, aside from hayfever, appears to be forum games. The first person to be voted out of Survivor because he simply couldn't keep up with the demands, Dave is a family man first and foremost. Unfortunately however, he is the Lance Armstrong of the ratio world...

Red is the first person I ever hated on TFF. To teenage me, Spear was a big bastard, Pagnell was a miserable fuck and Lord Football was a huge old c*** (the latter two still stand), but Red was the absolute worst. There was a time in the distant past when young Steady was obsessed with this thing called a 'rep'. You see, TFF once granted us the opportunity to add a + or a - to every post a person made, similar to our current 'like' system. Lord HatterDave once had a single post with around 200 minuses attributed to it, and he had by far the worst rep. At the other end of the spectrum were Smat, JimJams, and young Steady. As a precocious young boy, this was excellent for my e-ego.

Then Red came along. One night, Red had had a few too many Stellas and he saw young Steady's rep. Instead of commending him or outlining a plan to emulate him, Red decided to destroy his and everyone else's rep. One cocaine-fuelled rant at the innocent admin and that was it, the rep system was no more. Borne out of jealousy and bitterness due to his poor rep, Red took it upon himself to instigate the downfall of TFF in one fell swoop.

The aftermath was terrible. Amidst Red claiming innocence, posters left, people rebranded, Saddlerrad set up a forum just in case and young Steady spiraled into a depression with no rep to fall back on. He applied for jobs, but McDonalds refused to accept 'great rep' as a personal achievement.

Current Steady still wakes up in a cold sweat over just what Red is capable of doing on 1FF. Has he set his sights on destroying the like system? Will he become a mod and make rape compulsory for anyone who signs up? One can only shudder with terror.​

I still view him as a borderline member of the 'new clique', in that they don't want to accept him but he's always just there so it's hard to ignore him.
