I hope they're not forced to abandon Alexandria. So bored of that formula.

Quite a dull mid-season finale really, made frustrating by so many characters making such stupid decisions.

Yep, I thought it was a shit episode with so many of the frustratingly stupid ideas from the series rolled into one.
A wall falls, the living run away from it, yet once they're part way down the street they're headed off by zombies? Zombies that move about as fast as a dead cat being dragged by a 3 legged tortoise. But they get ahead of them?
Then there's the fact they still don't just channel zombies into bottle necks and just take them out one by one, but then realise they could do that when they get to the stairs. On top of all that they then resort to the fake zombie trick, something used to good effect in the past which begs the question why there isn't some sort of lock up with a few dismembered zombies in that they could gut in any given situation and escape with no problems. Or of course everyone could have some pet walkers like Michonne did when she first appeared on the scene which seemed to keep her safe from any zombie threat. But no, what we'll do is shit ourselves at the threat coming at us at precisely 1kph, make sure we fall over at every opportunity and then fight amongst ourselves for a bit because if the zombie threat ain't gonna fuck us over, we damn well better make sure we do it ourselves. Cue stupid youngest son to shit his pants, blow their cover and get the preacher killed next episode.

And even if the son hadn't had a breakdown... why on Earth would you bring the baby? It's bound to cry and get everyone killed. Just stick it in the loft where they can't reach it. In fact, I've wondered for a while why they don't just smash all their stairs down and put ladders there instead. Instant zombie-proofing for upstairs.

It did indeed consist of people once again falling to the ground for some reason when escaping walkers. These people just cannot stop falling down and tripping over. I would also be in favour of brutally killing off all the pointless kids in this show, starting with Coral.

Just get new fucking shoes, it'd increase your survival rate in TWD by 90%.

Quite boring. Last few episodes have been disappointing compared to the high standards of recent times. Still not as dull as some of the earlier seasons but the pacing has gone a bit off. Doesn't help that the episodes kept going back and forth between characters, the crap Glenn cop-out and now a mid-season finale without much happening.

The first four episodes of this season = some of the best WD there's been.
The last four episodes = some of the worst WD there's been.

Plus the major ass pull they did with Glenn pretty much ruined the whole season for me. Used to be one of my favorite characters, now I just wish he'd die.

I haven't felt as tense and stressed watching this show before than I have this let half series. Has to double check it was a mid season finale though, very underwhelming.

And yeah I missed the post credits scene. Gonna check it out now

Been playing catch up at Uni so haven't checked this thread, but agree with others that it was a very disappointing mid-season finale. The Glenn bit especially, the shock factor of him 'dying' the first time around was immense, should have just gone with that and it would have been worth the series alone. BUT NO.

Finding it a bit repetitive now, no one cares if you consistently kill off the minor characters - apart from Noah. That was a serious death.

Fear the Walking Dead is back for 15 episodes in Spring. So I'm guessing, immediately after the second half of the main series ends.

I enjoyed the first season, although the final episode was a let down. Somehow they made it appear perfectly justified to lead a horde of walkers into that military compound, resulting in dozens of people dying. There was zero dialogue whether that was the morally acceptable thing to do. That was a really poor yet major plot decision and I thought it was just stupid. But other than that I liked the show and will watch the 2nd season when it airs.

The one thing that did give me some hope was the hint that they're going to try and rebuild Alexandria and not just wander off to the next random place to hunker down.

Stick it in the loft with what? A bowl of water and some smarties? It's a baby. They take a bit of care to 'not die'

Their plan was to leave the compound, get some cars and then lead them all away wasn't it? That should only take a few hours. Hell, leave someone up there with her if need be, but fuck bringing the zombie alert machine out with you.

Right, if the kid doesn't get eaten within a few seconds of the episode starting, I demand a riot.

Great episode, that.

Hope it leaves enough juice for the rest of the season, a lot happened in 40 minutes. Glenn though...man has 9 lives.
