In the comics, Negan kills Glenn with a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, issue 100. Possible the same could happen in the show

Hopefully, he is definitely long overdue. They said in the latest episode about teaching the new camp a lesson by killing a 16 year old, could hint at Negan killing someone like Judith or Carl?

I'd appreciate if you mentioned outside the spoiler that it's about the comics, thanks.

About the latest episode, I thought it was otherwise good, but had one big problem; how easily Rick & co. make the decision to just go and attack an armed group which numerical strength is in the dosens. That's pretty damn stupid if you ask me. Apparently gave zero thought to the fact that, realistically speaking, that should cost themselves at least a few lives. Abraham's obviously going to die. I just can't take a decision like this seriously.

Enjoyed that episode a lot, having that bit of diplomacy in there too helped a lot more me.

I know what happens from here on very roughly but I am very tempted to read the comics, the whole Negan storyline intrigues me much more than anything before now.

That was intense.

I'm guessing that was just some kind of outpost, and I predict that Maggie is not long for this world.

Good episode.

Spoiler from comics.
Glenn is gone next episode surely? Loved how him checking out the pictures in the room where he killed the sleeping saviours was a foreshadowing of his fate.

Working while midnight next Monday, seriously considering knocking.

Really enjoyed the last few episodes. Far less fluff than before, the writers seem to be much better now at letting the show just get to the point.

I always feel as if the show is at its best when it just fucking sticks to the god damned comics. The stuff that gets added in for the shows and isn't in the books at all is usually the stuff that I see everybody moaning about - Terminus, the hospital and what not.

It doesn't need to follow the books strictly, but when it at least uses it as a rough guideline instead of completely going on it's own way it's at its best. I don't think there's a coincidence that this half of this season has followed the books quite closely and it's also got a whole lot better.

When it started with Carol making cookies I thought "ah, it's gonna be a filler", glad that it wasn't. I was rather happy with the episode, but had two disappointments:

How easily they just stormed that armed compound, didn't lose a soul themselves. It's not credible.

How the "Saviors" have been made so obviously evil. They just randomly kill people they meet. They looked like the casting for them had been done in prison. I find myself longing for the Woodbury days; that community had an evil element to them in the form of a manipulative, twisted leader and a few ruffians that were the closest to him, but overall the Woodbury community was fairly normal, even good. That made it intriguing to see what happened between them and Rick's people. These Saviors have been made so obviously evil that it's boring.

Alexandria is basically Woodbury now anyway.

I don't know, I don't see it like that. The Governor was manipulative and somewhat twisted / evil, with what keeping his zombie daughter there and zombie heads in jars and willing to torture and kill without much reason. Rick can be ruthless but he's not like the Governor. And the Alexandrians know much better what's really going on than the Woodbury people did.

The Hilltop people seem overly soft while the Saviors overly evil. Too one-dimensional. I hope what ever comes after the Saviors will have more layers to it.

Alicia Witt deserves more roles.

She was good. Just like the biker guy that was on screen for about five minutes at the start of the season. Good acting from both. Hope Negan is as good a villain as those two.

Father Gabriel barging into the building all SWAT like at the end. Again, what a boss.

I thought the latest episode was a letdown. This doesn't feel like watching zombie apocalypse survival any more, this feels like watching action heroes kill loads of baddies without getting hurt themselves.

The episode in itself wasn't too bad but it was a real anti-climax given how the prior one ended.
The only thing to come out of it now is that Rick will think he's killed Negan and Carol is going to explain to him that he hasn't and they all call themselves by that name, which in turn have them questioning just how many people they are now dealing with. Cue episode with lots of discussion, a bit of bickering, Carol making peace with Morgan? And very few zombies in the zombie apocalypse.

Yeah, this is starting to become a problem, imo. They seem to only use lots of zombies when they need them, the latest being in Alexandria. Otherwise there are just the single or few zombies here and there that can be disposed of without breaking sweat. I'd like more variety and unexpectedness.

This show has gone stale, the last 2 episode didn't even need zombies. All the characters seem safe, seems to be getting repetitive.

I think the show's a lot better than it was in earlier seasons but agree the character's feel like they have too much plot armour.

The whole Glenn thing was so contrived and just left me feeling annoyed.

I do love seeing Rick, Darryl, Carol and Father Gab taking out bad guys though.

It's at its best when it's group against group with the zombies as an after thought. Not that I don't enjoy the occasional zombie horde like.

I wish they'd build for the future more. I know they've given lip service to that, but it still feels like we're in a perpetual state of being one big attack away from having to relocate to yet another 'base' after a few deaths again.

Oh look, another character we've not been given enough screen time with to really care about dies. If 'it' happens next Monday while I'm at work I'm gonna break summat.

Quite enjoying season six. I'd like to see everything go to complete shit in the near future after they've spent so long building everything back up.

There's still too many characters that I don't like though, I think Rick is a bit of a bellend and I want Carl to get munched asap. His hair pisses me off.

Finally starting to warm to Carol.
