I think it's the case, but surely the guts should be too fresh?

It will be utterly ridiculous, but from what I've seen it looks to be the case.

Shame because the show has been great and I thought the shock value warranted it actually happening.

I hope they don't bitch out on this, as much as I was fond of said character.

I don't watch it, but apparently on The Talking Dead they end the show with a feature called 'In Memoriam' where they list everyone that died. Glenn did not feature.
After every big character death they apparently have the actor in the studio. Glenn was not present.

Oh, and he's been photgraphed filming later scenes. Could be for a flashback or something, but it probably isn't going from the above.

I'm the same. I was shocked and didn't want them to die, but....any situation where they survive is not in any way plausible.

I honestly wasn't shocked at all because I didn't believe he was dead. It was far too ambiguous, which usually means they live.

Not a chance he's dead, this is The Walking Dead for fuck sake, far too predictable.

Shame if all of this is the case because like Rammy said, one of the few things I've ever watched where I was actually gripped and shocked when I thought Glenn was dead.

It's a Morgan backstory, so there's no answers this week.

That's the Morgan backstory done with. Let's all move on very quickly.

I quite enjoyed it. Eastman was one of the best characters they've introduced for a while, I'd rather Morgan had been killed off.

Same, thought it was a good episode and a nice change of pace.

Next week we get to find out Glenn isn't dead... yay for him I guess :dk:

Great episode. S5 and S6 have been sooooo good.

Apart from the inevitable Glen cop-out, that is.

Well he kept asking Eastman to kill him but would he do it? Oooooooooooooh no. Heartless bastard.

Do you reckon they were trying to mask the voice of the person shouting "open the gate" at the end? I don't think they did a very good job of it if they were. Bit of a spoiler that.

They did an even worse job given the subtitles tell you exactly who said it!

enjoyed this week's episode. the change of pace was great. too much heart pumping action, blood and guts all at once can leave you feeling numb towards it. that's one of the reasons why the Noah death bit in S5 was so gruesome, because the 2/3 episodes before that were all pretty calm and mild, then suddenly DEATH AND BLOOD AND GUTS AND NO HOPE.

lennie james is a fantastic actor.

I just wish there were some big-picture thinkers somewhere in the franchise. They only ever talk about the immediate future and kill or be killed Corrul.

It needs it dramatically, too. They go to a new place, encounter a new antagonist, absorb some new faction, tensions ensue, someone big dies, more pondering about whether survival entails forgoing one's humanity, and whether that's worth it, etc. Rinse & repeat. Engaging the first time, and the second, but by the third, and the fourth..... and then you read an interview with the show runner talking about what season 12 might be.... there needs to be some sort of goal, or overarching framework, some sort of desired destination on the horizon.

I enjoyed the bottle episode more than I have the previous three this season. Which is odd.

The Walking Dead is almost like Call of Duty, annual release that is different in every way other than it's core structure that it re-does every single fucking season. Very formulaic.

I like how they started off by talking about how they mustn't make any noise or do anything to let the walkers know they're there, then proceed to go about their business as they normally do making loads of noise and keeping people stood guard where they can be seen.

Bit naff how they skipped over the Rick in the RV cliffhanger. What's even more annoying is that the storyline designed to make viewers happy to see Glenn return, has just made me want his character to be dead.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan has just been cast as Negan and it looks like he'll appear in the series 6 finale.
