I played the 4th episode of Life is Strange earlier. Just one more to go that is released in September.

I have to say that if you have never played this game, seriously do. It is one of, if not, the best stories I think that has ever been told in a game. It pisses all over The Walking Dead and I love that series. If episodes 1 and 2 are 8/10 warm ups, episode 3 and 4 have been 10/10 without question.

This. The latest episode left me genuinely a bit disturbed at times, not what I expected when playing for the first time.

Really intriguing story, cool characters, love the music and the fact that the decisions you make definitely seem to have more consequence than the telltale games. I don't dislike Telltale either but this game has definitely improved on their formula, I'm also playing through their latest GoT episode and it doesn't really hold up to Life is Strange imo.

As long as you don't fight Jecht, yes. You have to capture the monsters in there for the arena anyway. Alternatively, go to the Omega Ruins.

Finished Mafia II. What a story line that has, I hope Mafia III is as good.

Announced the other day

Some people are disapointed, apparently the game play looks less realistic than previous games.

i'm gonna tear my fucking hair out soon, has anyone successfully done the chocobo catcher in under 0.00? i've been trying for hours and got it to 0.36!!!!!!!!!!!!!! got all fully upgraded celestials even the annoying Cactuar thing, but this is ridiculous, what moron thought this was a good idea for the main characters main weapon!!! something like beating Omega Weapon would have been better or a dark aeon!!!!

Yeah, I managed it, broke a controller and spent about 9 hours over 2 days doing purely that. Good luck.

it's so annoying, it surely has no place in the game being his way to get the celestial, someone like Wakka or Rikku sure, but fucking Tidus? surely a more meaningful way like defeating dark bahamut or something would have been more logical and still hard, but not ridiculously hard and stupid

i've looked at tips and strategies and it seems to be vital you get 4 or 5 on the first part, and stick to the right as the trainer gets in front of you, it's ok i get 8 without getting hit then i think i'm about to do it i get hit twice, once by having no chance to react at the finish line!

There's a reason for that broken controller. I've gone back to my ps2 game after talking on here about it so much, I have all Celestials, all aeons and right now I'm trying to capture 10 of every monster, quite a dull task, but there we are...

thats another side quest i never did 10 years ago, 10 of every monster creates a super monster doesn't it?

i'm desperately trying to get all dark aeons and penance down this time though, i seem to be just grinding alot now, so frustrating, all i've practically got to do is beat seymour omnix and braska, then it's onto 10 part 2

Yeah it does, but you have to beat ALL arena creations before he pops up.

Give X-2 a shot using the Monster creator. You can swap out the 3 characters for various monsters or NPCs (or characters from X)

Was going to say to give X-2 a go. I now only need the monsters from Sin and Omega Ruins to have caught everything. Need to get some armour with Ribbon, Auto-Haste, Auto-Regen and Break HP Limit.

Going to try and make some weapons with triple overdrive, triple ap and overdrive>ap to get some serious grinding one once I've unlocked One Eye in the arena to get the triple ap weapons...

Let me know what it's like. I'm tempted by it but was so let down by The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, I'm not sure I can play another deep, plodding game at the moment.

Good reviews for it so far, including 8.5 from IGN and 9 from Gamespot. Currently only on 77 on metacritic (which is by no means bad) but basically its only real criticism is on how slow you walk... many reviews were made assuming that you couldn't sprint, but a way to sprint has actually been discovered. Somewhat bafflingly, you have to hold down r2 for seven seconds before you start running to move a little quicker. It's a stupid, strange decision, but it is actually there well hidden.

Just getting going with Shadow or Mordor. Really good so far.

Read online that it's similar to the recent Batman series so I might look into that once I'm done with this.

Finished the Ladies of the Wood quest and now I've moved onto the story quest in Novigrad. Hoping to find some new equipment soon because the stuff I have at the moment is a bit low level.

Also for anyone who's done the Ladies in the Wood quest. What were your choices?

I freed the spirit in the tree which led to the Baron hanging himself and Anna dieing. Oh well, the kids went free.
