Just got the last 2 achievements I needed to 100% Alan Wake...finally! Great game, but a couple of the achievements are killers.

Still finishing off my final few Xbox 360 games before I finally purchase an Xbox One next month.

Didn't realise quite how long Red Dead Redemption's storyline was (or at least how long it's taking me, got a few missions into Mexico originally and thought I was almost done.. now it seems like that was still the first half of the game).

Yeah, this has already been confirmed I think. Everyone's been expecting a release date to be announced some time this year (with it being released next year I assume). It's Rockstar, who play things quite close to their chest which is why there's not been any news leaked recently.

It's ok so far.

You're hit with so many quick little menu tutorials in the beginning and they don't exactly make it easier to understand the stuff but I found it easy to work the stuff out after a few minutes.

The combat systems decent enough. I mean Tales games always have good combat so yeah. Difference in this one is that theres two kinds of characters. Humans and Seraphims. You can only use one Seraphim in battle for each Human. So sometimes you'll have four party members but only able to use two of them.
You can also armourise and the two merge into one character but they're a lot stronger.

Basically if you like Tales games and are ok with a lot of information thrown at you early in then its worth playing.

Telltale games are cheap on PlayStation store, didn't go for the full package (32 quid) but decided to get the game of thrones one for a tenner

Good so far

Don't wanna make anyone jealous but I just beat the Elite Four on Pokemon Alpha Sapphire last night. First try, no buying shitloads of recovery items either, just went into it to see what types they use ect and won.

I bought a PS4 today. Came with Watch Dogs, Assassins Creed and Unchartered and I also purchased FIFA16 and Batman. So far I have rediscovered how shit I am at FIFA.

Been bouncing around various games depending on what takes my fancy after work. Been playing AC: Syndicate, Dragon Quest, Saints Row IV and Knack. Oh and I finished The Last of Us on PS4. Still as good as I remember.

Can anyone recommend Dark Souls 2: SotFS?
I'm debating whether to get back on it on DS1 or go for shiny PS4 DS2

Finished the final episode of Life is Strange. Definitely one of the best gaming experiences I've had in recent years.

My only quibble would be that the ending seemed a bit rushed with one or two things left unanswered.... but seriously, anyone who hasn't played this yet, what are you waiting for? :2thumb:

Playing the death out of skyrim at the moment, traded in my normal one for the legendary edition as the DLC on XBL was £31ish, compared to me trading in the base game for the legendary for £14... To be fair, the only part of the DLC I've done so far is built a house, still need to furnish the bastard mind you. I'm level 32 and have sunk about 50 hours into it since last week probably.

It's just DS II with occasionally different enemy placements and some new red phantoms dotted around the place.

Great job buying a console you are very vocal about not liking three times in two years.

Never played DS2,
Only played the first, and from what I've read, the thing I like best about DS1 isn't as good in DS2 apparently, that being the completely interconnected level design. Wish they would re-do DS1 for PS4 as well...

I played DS II before DS I so probably judged it less harshly than others at the time. After playing DS I, I can't imagine how disappointed I'd have been with II had I played them in order. So much less cohesive and immersive, storyline is sub-par and the boss battles are largely rehashed. Enjoyable on its own merits but definitely not in comparison to the original.

Decent,
I got DS1 on PS3 but I'm trying to shift completely to my PS4.
I wouldn't be surprised if eventually they released an 'Even more HD' version of both Demons and Dark Souls for PS4
Btw if that happens I highly recommend Demons Souls

Have to echo this. The most enjoyable gaming experience I've had for a long time. Excellent characters that you can truly invest in. Episode 5 overall was probably the weakest but more because there was no perfect way to end it. For what it's worth, I thought they ended it quite well and with a scenario that makes sense.

Where episode 1 helps set the scene more than anything, episodes 2, 3 and 4 were outstanding. It's ridiculously immersive and there's so many subtle little clues all throughout from graffiti to posters to songs on the radio etc.

9.5/10 for me. A must play for anybody who loves a story/emotional experience when they play games.

Been playing a bit of WWE 2K16 since release. Avoiding Universe mode until they fix the title glitch/bug/mishap whatever 2K want to call it but My career mode has improved and the Austin showcase has proved to be ok so far.

I'm halfway through the second season of Walking Dead. Enjoying it so far. Got the Telltale bundle the other week and started with Game of Thrones but Walking Dead is a step above that.
