Finished the final episode of Life is Strange. Definitely one of the best gaming experiences I've had in recent years.

My only quibble would be that the ending seemed a bit rushed with one or two things left unanswered.... but seriously, anyone who hasn't played this yet, what are you waiting for?

Ive just started playing it today. Been itching to play it since it came out, but Im just too impatient to play these episodic games with months in between! Did the same with both Walking Deads and The Wolf Among Us, and actually got the first ep of Game of Thrones free but havent started it yet!

Im not very far in just yet, taking it slowly, only just explored the area around the campus before going to the dorm. Enjoying it so far, a lot of thought has clearly been put into the characters and the mystery already, and Im excited to see where this goes.

I am up to date on my GoT game now. Some hard decisions to make in episode 5!

Also downloaded season 2 of walking dead as it's free, but I see season 1 has gone back up to 20 quid! Do I play it regardless or find a way of playing season 1?

4hours in & yeah, dynamic lighting/weather conditions are brilliant. The areas are hugeeee.Combat seems pretty much the same though you have new abilities, swimming under water, climb trees etc

Only managed to find one challenge tomb so far which i done, as a reward i got an ability where i can take out multiple enemies with one arrow.

I made a bit of an error. I paid for all six episodes when I had an Xbox 360, then went and upgraded to an Xbox One after episode two. What a waste.

I've now conquered London but still have a couple of the side missions to do. I've enjoyed this game, although it does get a little repetitive with the same types of mission over again. The one thing I've never really understood with AC is the need for all the stuff set in the present. Why not just have a game concentrating on the time period in which it's set?

Just finished this too, it's received a bit of a hard time and it was certainly hit & miss (Gared...seriously who gives a fuck about those sections) but I enjoyed it all. It's fanfic type bollocks but their hands are tied in that sense because it has to tie-in with the series so the characters are going to be cheap imitations to some extent. The whole Forresters/Whitehills stuff was done very well though in my opinion - by and large I didn't give a fuck about most characters but there were a couple of points in the final 2 episodes where I'd have re-wound and replayed it if I'd accidentally killed someone off I liked and wanted to keep alive

Yeah I liked rodrik too much to not choose him in that scenario.

I might replay it just to choose alternative stories to what I chose I.e. which sentinal, who lives and dies. But I it would take a long time

I liked it anyway. Plus it's my first 100% completed achievement (although they could have made it a bit harder than just play each chapter). Haven't checked but have they announced a second series?

They have yeah, be interesting to see how that pans out cos obviously the Asher/Rodrik thing can only keep going for so long, they can't carry your choice on for an entire season depending on what you chose. Same with Mira too - so, be interesting to see how they handle it.

Still need to play the last two Borderlands episodes.

Black Ops 3 has almost reignited my long lost love for CoD. Took a little while but I think i'm slowly getting back into old CoD4 form again, about 5 years out of practice!

By far my favourite CoD since MW2, I abandoned CoD after MW3 but Blops 3 has won be back.

Started Wolftenstein: The Old Blood. Aside from the visuals, this game could have been made ten years; It's solid albeit rather basic. Stealth sections, waves of enemies, things to collect etc. Pretty much what you'd expect from any FPS. I'm enjoying it though due to the game having some cool enemy designs and a decent enough atmosphere.

Started Xenoblade Chronicles X last night and played around two hours. Early impressions is that it's absolutely fantastic and perhaps the best JRPG I've played in quite some time. Combat system seemed a tad overwhelming at first but I think I've got to grips with it. World looks absolutely stunning, filled with beautiful looking creatures (Indigens) and equally good looking environments.
