Geoff Boycott on TMS. I know people have developed the idea that he's somehow post-modern, but they're all utterly wrong. He's a boorish and tedious man, utterly obsessed with Yorkshire CCC 1962-1970. It's not even funny. If you ever got stuck in a conversation with him at a bus stop, you'd smile and nod politely then you'd fuck off and walk home instead.

Graham Swann as well. THE smuggest man in cricket bar none. Every time he impersonates one of his ex team mates or an ex opponent, I have to turn the radio off.

The new generation of cricket pundits with their insufferable banter (Swann, Vaughan...) are going to destroy my love of cricket and they will make me forget about much I liked them when they played. Boycott is a funny one - he's probably just about right more often than he's wrong and he's amusing in small doses, mainly cos he's clearly a total weirdo. He quickly becomes tedious though...

Yep, TMS is quite hard work these days. There aren't many I can tolerate for long periods. Agnew, Ed Smith, Simon Mann and Tufnell are decent IMO, and the oppo's commentators are usually good, especially Maxwell and Cozier. Jeremy Coney gets on my nerves a bit though. I can't have Swann, Boycott and Blofeld at any price. Vic Marks is okay I suppose. I had to turn off the KP / Michael Vaughan love-in at lunch today. Why people still listen to KP I don't know.

All that moaning aside, I would hate TMS to get the chop, which it no doubt will one day.

Hardly my fault they're paid fuck all. i get at least one cold call every single day sometimes as many as 4. If i want something i'll buy it a cold caller will never convince me to buy anything or make a spurious claim.

I'm on the TPS Service which is supposed to stop cold callers,problem is some withold their number so i can't make a complaint against them.

Don't forget to renew every 6 months. I was on TPS and it worked quite well, the shit calls significantly stopped. About 7 months in I got a phone call from British Gas. I told the caller I was on TPS and he shouldn't be calling. He asked me if I'd renewed my TPS service and I said I didn't know you have to renew it. He then told me if you don't renew it every 6 months you're no longer protected by TPS
