I've got no problem with a retrospective of the work. It's well written and important work I 'spose. But these sitcoms are representative of their time and they don't make sense in a modern context. It just seems like lazy writing and " filler" imvho.

Many thanks AG....I did have a wee butcher's at the link. Believe it or not it is quite rare for me to have a chippy (circumstances dictated this week) and I do have a varied diet partaking of many items mentioned in the link.....so all going well, the old ticker will continue pumping for many years yet.....
