Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
People, and the BBC, actually getting mildly interested in Tim Peake's launch to the ISS. There are more impressive human achievements than winning Strictly and X Factor, you know....

I watched the launch on BBC News and thought their coverage was pretty good to be fair.

To be fair, if one of our own is defecting to a terrorist organization, we need to know about it.

Yes! Best football game EVER

Actually, that accolade may have to go to its predecessor, ISS 64, simply coz the commentary's that much more hilarious.

Haha too right. I never knew Valderrama was on the alternate front cover though. I think I had Paul Ince on mine. Daesh 64 was a headache of blocky graphics and overly loud SFX as far as I can remember.

"It is... GERMANY! Versus! Waaaaalllleeeessss..."

"GOAL! GOAL! GOAAAAAALLLL!!! He hit it with his RIGHT foot!"

"Poor. Old. GERMANY!"

 So good.

"GREECE! are playing from right to left"

"Fresh blooood is coming in"

"WHAT A CRACKER! He hit it at the wall!"

I was going to say they don't make 'em like that anymore but some of the PES commentary has remained pretty ridiculous. Can't remember when "They're going at it hammer and tongs!" first made an appearance but that's always been a Pineapple favourite.

And "He still has possession!" a literal nanosecond after you kick off.

"THERE'S A FIGHT FOR AERIAL DOMINATION!"

"It's gone out of play! It's a goal kick! To! IRELAND!"

I can see where you get your unique style of PUNCTUATION with influences such as INTERNATIONAL! SUPERSTARRR SOCCERRRRR!

I think that was the same game that went mad every time Shearer touched the ball.

Scores a goal; SHEAAAARREEEEEEERRRRRRR!
Passes the ball out wide: SHEAAAARREEEEEEERRRRRRR!
Takes a corner: SHEAAAARREEEEEEERRRRRRR!
Takes a kickoff: SHEAAAARREEEEEEERRRRRRR!

Awesome.

Games are too polished these days.

I highly doubt Daesh 64 did that. Or at least mine didn't. Then again was Daesh 64 one of those platforms with made-up, copyright-avoiding player names, while Daesh 98 sidestepped the problem by scrambling all player names (eg. Shearer became Shorarer, Bebeto became Dedeto, Batty became Petty etc).

I remember creating a player for the USA team called G BUSH and giving him awful stats and making him all squat and grey-haired. The CPU would always sub him at half-time. Fuck you, Bush.

Von Mistelroum!
Butatista!
Roberto Larcos!

They definitely had fake player names down to a fine art form by the time the series had morphed into PES (except for that rather annoying edition where all the dutch player were called Oranges followed by a number).

This, which I bought and arrived today. Perfect Kodi media server for my TV, some nice plugins will be getting installed tonight. Amazing for the price considering it comes with a fully licenced install of Windows 10.

Right. I just know people are itching for an update (go on, admit it). Well, I returned this, because although it was a brilliant Kodi streamer, it kept panicking and powering off, as did the replacement. Clearly a design flaw.

Got one of these arriving today instead. I'd prefer a Windows-based box for the additional features, but as it's 95% going to be used for media playback (mostly via streaming), Android is probably the better option anyway. Like everything else based Linux, it will be more stable than Windows.
