bit of a contradiction.....one of your educated posters said you had a team that would be in the top 2 and you have a team of academy players who are good enough for the championship. We don't all have your resources. Of course we can fill the bench, the point is whether we would want to bring on a 17 year old with no experience to get battered.
Bit late replying, quite agree with your comments, I think Scott Brown is at the beginning of a successful managerial career. Quite likely he will eventually finish up at Parkhead, ,2 yr contract with us and expect him to then move on to a championship club. Pilley has a track record of bringing through young unproven managers who buy and large do pretty wellI agree they've done some good business so not expecting them to drop, will be interesting to see how Scott Brown does for them as he's a big unknown
If you don't believe me now you'll believe me by Christmas. Looking at current 11s from around the league it's hard to see anyone with a better starting line up than us, potentially weak in depth at the mo, but easily the best starting 11 on paper. If we can get 1 or 2 more signings across the line this week, mainly a striker, we'll have this league sown up by March.bit of a contradiction.....one of your educated posters said you had a team that would be in the top 2 and you have a team of academy players who are good enough for the championship.
Got me scratching my head because i believed him

Maybe so, but he saved them from certain relegation a couple of seasons ago.Hasselbaink had them in relegation form in the second half of last season.

Why would we want Ronaldo? We've got Sam Nombe, much better. We just need a striker to sit on the bench for if/when he gets injured. I suppose Ronaldo could be a good choice but not entirely sure he'd be happy to be sat on the bench. It’s going to need to be a bloody good striker. Are you in for Ronaldo?
He must have massively improved in the last two years then. He only had about one good month in his entire time with usWhy would we want Ronaldo? We've got Sam Nombe, much better. One day both your town and team will have a historySo Bolton isn't the best team in League 1 anymore
You couldn’t beat us when we had one staff member and our centre back as a manager. That’s right there in the history books. One day both your town and team will have a history
got socks with more history than the franchiseYou couldn’t beat us when we had one staff member and our centre back as a manager. That’s right there in the history books.
You need to go sock shopping then mategot socks with more history than the franchise
Come every Christmas day along with the turkeyYou need to go sock shopping then mate
Na, simply because he probably will only feature for half to 2/3s of the season.Nombe is 100/1 to be League 1 top scorer. Worth a grand of anyone’s money surely?
Probably the best bit of business we've done in the transfer market in my time watching City (Granted, it's only about 18 years) in signing him up. Utterly incredible. What a man, what a player. He must have massively improved in the last two years then. He only had about one good month in his entire time with us
Fleetwood have done some really nice business for me and could be a surprise top 6 contender.
No, they're an established L1 side who have strengthened a lot under a new manager. Please tell me you're joking?
League Two play off winners are nearly always pre season fav's to go down. The Port Vale predictions being in bottom 4 are truly bizarre.
The Cheltenham poster above is clearly under the influence of some hard hitting drugs.
No Cheltenham in the bottom 4? They'll 100% be dropping down, but I get your bias being a supporter. But no Derby or Sheffield Wednesday in the top 6 is mental, as is your prediction Pl*mouth will be anywhere near the top 6. Rovers will be top half, and we're nailed on a top 2 spot now we've secured Jamal with a striker comining in imminently.
