Due a defeat then :box:
To be fair of the 4 remaining games this is the one I’m least confident of winning. FGR always seem to play their best against us and Lady Luck has never quite gone our way. Hopefully an entertaining game nonetheless and no season ending injuries.

Norwood hasn’t trained all week, groin strain. Miller’s been out for months and only recently returned to training, can’t see Dagnall filling the Norwood role andMullin hasn't had any match time in ages. The Forest Green curse strikes again..?

Given that it will be a very very tough game, I fancy we have finally got something rolling. It will hardly be a shock if we loose of-course, respect where it’s due, but we do have the players who are more than capable, were finding a way to get the job done. But the self-destruct mode is always lurking too. Great day for it, wish I was going.

I hate games with former players are looking to destroy you, Nors (if available) & Manny, I take it Andy Mangan has departed?
He was always my favourite player back then, the epitome of the lovable cheeky chappy.

Mangan has gone, think on the coaching staff at Fleetwood now? Even though he didn’t play much last season, was still the positive character Stripes describes. Mark Ellis also with Rovers and must be due a goal. However knowing our luck against FGR, Gavin Gunning who played a few games on loan at Tranmere will get the winner to uphold the ex player scoring against you rule.

Mangan is a top funny bloke. He presented our end of year awards last season and was looking for a volunteer to sit on stage for one reason or another... after a minute of no volunteers he spouted ' f**k it i will do it myself , ive spent the season sat on my a**e watching so i might as well continue ' his timing was perfect it was hilarious

7700 presales. 1000 higher than last week, so 9500ish today.

In danger of a Lincoln-esque bandwagon.

I forgot about Mark Ellis, very highly thought of here. Couldn't agree terms with Carlisle to sign him permanently. Despite suggestions to the contrary, we're as tight as anyone else for the most part with transfers. You still have a good few from last season playing for you. Not many of our promotion side were retained for one reason or another, some just weren't good enough at this level. Still surprised sometimes we actually made it up here at all looking back. It literally was a case of keeping all our players fit until the bitter end that played a big part. A good set of lads they were. It took us three consequetive play-off attempts before we learn't how to do it, excepting it can be taken out your hands at any point. That knowledge will benefit yourselves and us should it come down to the play-offs again. Hopefully we will avoid each other somehow. Win today and you will sandy yourselves I'm sure for automatic promotion. Can't say I fancy the prospect of you getting the chance to take revenge on us!

Anyone who believed Norwood was going to be injured for this should look up gullible in the dictionary.

Norwood being fit is good news, will stop Tranny whining about injuries when we beat them yet again. :box:

Showing FGR way too much respect here. Loads of space, loads of time. They really should be doing more with it to be honest. We're not at the races at all.

Just a bit of gamesmanship creeping into their game too, it's getting frustrating.

Our commentator keeps mentioning Mills in loads of space and he's one of our best so definitely standing off the wrong players somewhere.

You're standing a man on both touchlines, so we can't spread ourselves that thin, but we're being very stand offish all over the pitch. Not our usual style, I presume it's a clever tactic and not just us being lethargic! Let's see what Mellon has up his sleeve.

The Ellis injury shook the players, apparently something snapped. Either broken knee or ACL.

Rovers missing Perkins in midfield where Forest Green controlling things and stifling our wide play with the men near the touchline. Visitors ahead on points atm... now scored.
