Where to start... Forest Green never cease to amaze. In the away game, they played some decent football and my only gripe was that moving the away fans to the open side is a shithouse move. But today the lack of class was gobsmacking. Not just with the Ellis injury, but time wasting diving all over the place and players picking a fight with the Kop. Cannot wait for the day when Dale Vince has had enough and they return to their natural level. Utter scum

As for the game probably a draw was a fair result even first half then fgr scored and defended for their lives .... wouldnt fancy being their physio on monday as about 20 players went down so he will be mad busy on monday.

We were not great today and injuries to four or five key players have finally caught up with us, including Norwood who clearly could not move properly. However, FGR scored with their only shot on target and I am not sure we deserved to lose the game.

We badly need Perkins and Norwood fully fit for the play-offs.

We were still above Forest Green in the table last time I looked.

Before I think, but he should have played advantage and we almost certainly would have scored as Mullin was clean through. A very poor decision, like a few others.

That’s a great result for us against another side in the higher places of the table. Something we have seldom managed, so an encouraging sign. Can’t say I like time wasting myself, even when it’s us that do it, but all’s fair in love and war, and we face it often at home too. Clearly we hung on desperately against a constant barrage of pressure second half. So we have to be very happy with that.

We needed the points and even though we have them, we still need to win again before we can feel safe for the play-offs. Seems like we achieved that in some ways months ago, but the reality is we’re still not there yet. And if we do, we then have it all to do from scratch. The best thing for us is we have shown we can win ugly when we need to. The chance of playing Tranmere again must be high I would have thought, unless one of us finished fourth and then one or both fall in the semi’s.

A great result for our boys, and a great goal from the boy Mondal, the assist from Joe.
