I'll be fine there is zero chance of it happening even if he has handed a transfer request.

Theres nothing wrong with him handing in a request as long as he continues to train and maintains a professional attitude when selected to play.

The club haven't received any request.

Probably because he tried submitting it from 40 yards....

Which he'll do.
Which is why I'm asking Bilo why he needs to apologise.
We have Mahrez who has submitted a request and we've had offers (low offers) but he's trained with everyone else, played the pre-season the same as everyone else and will likely start v Arsenal. As long as the players keep their shit together I don't see why they have anything to apologise for if they wish to leave.

Which he'll do.
He hasn't.

He's feigning a back injury as I've told you all week.

He's desperate to leave, expect things to get even colder if Liverpool don't back down.

Liverpool should let the player go. You can't stop a player from joining Barcelona. It would also increase their chances of getting top Iberian/South American talents if they show that Liverpool is a great stage to auditionn for a club like Barcelona. Like Suarez and now Coutinho.

Interesting to see if he'll be able to play on tuesday in the CL qualifier against Hoffenheim. If yes, he won't be able to play for Barca in the CL

Let's see how he reacts. Dortmund has actually a similar problem with Dembele. I would say "Fuck off to Barca....both"

CL Play off doesn't cup tie a player for the group stages.

He won't be playing anyway. He's basically on strike.

yeah, you're right. Have read about it now in the UEFA rules that he can compete in the CL qualifiers Playoffs and still be available for another club in the group stages. What I have told is only valid if he plays the first match for Liverpool in the group stages and is then not available for another club to play in the same CL season (which is in this case irrelevant because Liverpool won't make it to the group stages....:D )

The breakdown of Liverpool fans on social media has been glorious to watch today. I bet the Southampton fans are loving every minute of this.

I wonder if barca are willing to throw someone our way to sweeten the deal?

Money is no good to us at the moment, we can't even fucking give it away ourselves.

Rakitic is the tabloid rumour, Rafinha before that. Take both and 100mill!

Don't see the Croatian being involved at all. Rafinha could be, he's a central mid that won't get much gametime at Barca.

I obviously hope he isn't sold. But that is very much on the proviso that he wants to stay. I don't think we should be turning down £100m bids for players that don't want to be here, no matter how good or important they are.

My position hasn't changed. And now he's made it official, we should let him go. Suarez aside, keeping players against their will rarely works.

If Barcelona increase their £90 bid, take it.

What's gonna happen I think, I want us to keep him though until we have a replacement even if that means waiting till January.

According to The Echo, Klopp isn't finished getting players in, which is good news as at the moment - particularly if Coutinho leaves (yep I'm beginning to think it will happen after all :( ) - its not a squad capable of competing for the major silverware.

When we sign Gylfi, Swansea will go after Bony, Joe Allen and Chadli. If they can get Bony back to anywhere near what he was like 1st time they had him he could be excellent
