I was sorry to see Skrtel go. He was a favourite of mine. I still believe Lovren is an accident, that'll keep on happening. I honestly think Klopp got rid of the wrong centre half.

:ffs::ffs::ffs::ffs: Lovren was our best defender last year. Southampton away bring Skrtel on half time get beat 3-2 after being 2-0 up coincidence I think not. I reckon Klopp could steal Subotic from under Boros noses!

Failing that I suppose we could use Wisdom as cover.

We need to get our arses in gear though, I'm still awaiting a high profile signing. Only been waiting 3 years. Get rid of Henderson and bring in a CM, I'd love Kante but that won't happen. We need a centre back, left back and a striker too. Goalkeeper is a grey area, I've not seen much of Karius.

Is Ilori not good enough? In the couple of games I've seen from him the only thing to let him down was his fitness. He looks good on the ball and is very quick, giving him a go seems an alright idea to me.

Seen Everton are targeting Wijnaldum. For £10 - £15M he'd have been a really good addition but if what Rafa is saying and we'd listen to nothing below £25M then you'll have been robbed blind.

Newcastle have already mugged us off, royally. It's Everton's turn now. :)

Ha! When we sell, minus daft clauses, we do stand our ground well like. Beauty is we have no motivation to sell either player so it's really going to make me chuckle when some poor bugger coughs up £25M+.

Anytime I've seen him he looks decent but it doesn't look like Klopp wants him either.

Kolo Toure to rejoin Liverpool.

I think that this is a good news for the Reds... Kolo Touré can help the Liverpool also thanks of his experience.

Another topic: Does anybody know about Joe Dodoo to the Rangers? I'd be happy for him as he is a very talented young forward which could finally fulfill his potential at the Ibrox Stadium. And according to my sources Celtic may have other things on their hands in Europe (OK it depends also from the return match against Lincoln :gr:, while Rangers will be more focused on their top flight return. So Dodoo would also have the possibility to win a Scottish title.

Kante to Chelsea seems to be happening. I kind of get it, but I kind of don't. Realistically you'd think Chelsea have more of a chance of silverware, but he was such a big part to Leicester's success last season you'd think he'd maybe want to play Champions League football for them.

Wonder if Matic/Loftus-Cheek are on their way if it goes through.

Skrtel still performed better than Sakho did in that second half.

I'd take Matic if he was to become available. He'd probably cost a fair whack though.

Chelsea are crazy enough to let Matic go. I wonder if Mourinho would be interested? Maybe a straight Mata swap?

Dodoo the lad with a name that makes Chris Kamara wet himself looks like he's going to join Rangers. We offered him a contract and it looked like he was going to sign and go to the Scottish outfit on loan, but he's rejected the contract offer so perhaps they'll sign him up permanent. Though if they do we get compensation.
After scoring a hat trick on his debut he's got to be worth at least £19mill.

I'm not going to get too excited - you told us Ronaldo was moving to United not so long ago.
I'm not too invested as I've learnt my lesson about getting too much into the transfer madness but it is looking likely tbf, normally when something is bullshit there are plenty of conflicting reports, but everyone seems to be reporting the same thing: Pogba is willing to come if United meet Juve's slightly bonkers valuation (which we're willing to and capable of doing). Whatever happens I just hope it's concluded fairly quickly as a long winded saga would benefit no one.

It was inevitable a bigger club in the right location. I thought he had Arsenal written all over him at the end of the season but Wenger obviously didn't want him.
I'm gutted the most uniquely skilled and probably the best player, I've seen in a Leicester shirt, Chelsea are getting a little gem.
Mahrez might be off as well but not really worried about that.

You're not bothered that our most creative player, top assister and second top scorer might leave? Even when he was off form since the Man City game he still had big impacts in games.

Honestly No, he was all of the things you mentioned above but also our biggest liability. The rest of the team carried him and had to do his legwork, he was the only player last year that didn't run his socks off.
I can forgive players for not being skilful or good enough but lacking commitment is not acceptable to me.
I haven't seen any other prem teams being linked with him so far, it would not surprise me if he wanted a move abroad.
If he stays great but of our 3 stars he is the favourite to be a one season wonder. Imo.

You won the league and he was your best player (Kante has a shout alongside him) - who cares how much he runs?

It'll be a massive blow if you lose him.

I'm gutted that Kante and now Mahrez are likely to leave. They should have just ended time after Leicester won the league. It was always going to be downhill.

I think your new boss just might, I doubt very much Man U will be knocking on our door for him.

Jose tolerates one flair player that doesn't bother running in his teams, he just has a sadistic disliking for Juan man in particular.

I feel the same about Kante, but we are Leicester City we have always had good times and bad times. Stay positive the good times might not yet be over, just have the same aspirations as at the start of last season and any thing else will be a bonus.

Giaccherini going to Napoli for £2m. Proved that he has ability at the Euros. Even if he's only a bit-part player for them that's good business, you often have to spend more than that for a player his level.

Possibly but the difference is he can afford the luxury because he has another 9 high quality players on the pitch Leicester can't.

You clearly could afford to accommodate Mahrez last season when you, y'know, won the league.
