Fair enough mate I just think he's an absolute machine when he gets running like that, I don't know many players who possess that running power, that kind of direct play scares the shit out of teams and can definitely create chances.

Still remember Manninger for one of the best Upton Park performances I've ever seen from an opposition GK, was a league cup quarter (I think) around 1999.

In talks for £26m Bacca. A cursory glance seems to suggest a goal machine, but I'm uneasy at £26m for a 29 year old. Though I suppose if we've had £30m bids turned down for every other striker in Europe, needs must.

Somewhere deep, deep, deep etc. down, there is obviously a decent player as shown by Sunday's game but by god is that the exception. His performance against us at St. James' this season was one of the most lackluster and pedestrian I can remember. Had to double check that he was the same player because the one I saw no way deserved to be near any Euro squad.
