Bignot was whinging the other day about Solihull messing him around with players but offering fair amounts or something.

We've turned down 3 bids for Elliott Frear from an unnamed SPL club.

Bignot says he has spoken to Aspin and all is fine, we have since made two further offers and the two chairman are now dealing with it

Bit of a long shot, but are there any Chelmsford fans on here? Joe Ward is meant to be signing for us, who left Chelsmford to sign for Brighton.

James Wallace has had his contract cancelled by Sheffield United, hopefully opening up a permanent move to us.

Forest Green striker (6ft 5in) Kieffer Moore had medical at #itfc. £10k fee. At game today. Three seven-figure+ bids in for other forwards.

Championship standard?

But enough about Forest Green, are Ipswich looking at any other strikers?

A number of League One and League Two clubs are lining up a move for Nuneaton striker Joe Ironside.

Nowhere near Football League standard. Once missed an horrific chance at Dover for us and couldnt hit a barn door which included been dominated by the back four of fucking Whaley Bridge for fucks sake.

We're hoping to complete a deal for a Forest striker, who scored for their under 23s last night - Lewis Walters or Gerry McDonagh then.
Walters looks to be a bit too out of our reach, and McDonagh was at Wrexham (and played against us pre-season), so I expect it's him - any good?

EDIT: Just seen it is McDonagh. Looks like a big guy, though still only a kid. Sort of player we need for the bench instead of two little guys.
A lot of speculation Hannah is on his way after being subbed and waving as he headed straight down the tunnel. Been shite IMO, and been given enough chances despite what our forum believes.

I imagine we could have watched him or made enquiries in the summer, but in all reality he would surely pick a team going for promotion than relegation? Plus we've apparently been waiting on this forward for weeks now. Might just be one of them things that players say.

Elliott Frear has made it clear he wants to leave apparently. Unlikely to play for us again. Kieffer Moore should sign for Ipswich soon and Rhys Murphy is set to go out on loan again.

We've got ex QPR and Stoke striker Peter Skapetis on trial, and are set to announce another signing early next week, who the fans will love according to Coops.

Why say Barrow though?

On the radio he said Barrow wanted him this week.
Radio York asked him about match next week and he said could of been playing for them but chose York.
Maybe he doesn't want to live in that beautiful part of the country

I'm not saying it's false, just saying that players/agents always say a better team was in for them - cos fans are stupid an' that...
Lost count of the amount of players that "had offers from league clubs" but chose Barrow.

Yeah but why would he say specifically Barrow, and not just other higher clubs?

McDonagh has ability but is quite frustrating with a distinct lack of effort at time and despite his size too often looked weak ( I guess that comes from only being 18). He scored 5 in 21 but that's in a side barely creating anything. I'd have been happy having him here for the rest of f the season though .

I would have kept him too. McDonagh generally did well considering he was bunged into a struggling side.

But it does appear that we've seriously upgraded the 18 year old on loan striker squad member position with Massanka.

As I said originally, there was probably some interest at some stage, but I very much doubt there was any kind of offer these past few weeks.
