To be fair I've had no issues with his work rate. The problem with him is that helps often try the Hollywood pass or a shot when there are better options available.

Isn't Rooney due an improved deal if he plays another game for Wrexham?

I've seen mention of a deal with Rovers, Adam Mekki and some cash going the other way, but would be very surprised at that happening.

Just done a little digging and this could well be happening. No player names mentioned but as of last weekend we were in discussions with a player that people would sit up and take notice of. Deal agreed between the two clubs just - subject to the player accepting terms. With these rumours it could fit with Rooney.

How much are they expecting to receive at tribunal in the summer? Can't imagine many teams bidding on an out of contract player.

We're still after a couple more players to bring in with Whitehead and Dudley picking up mid-long term injuries. Despite getting Summerfield, Haworth and Jennings in, we're still 2 players shorter than the start of January.

The more competition for him the better for us, we know he won’t be staying here. Barnsley have just had an offer rejected by us so can imagine they might be keen to get involved again before the summer when the other lot mentioned potentially offer deals.

Don't know to be honest. Askey does like to rotate, but depends how attacking he wants to go tonight. I think we should be going for it tonight with your missing players, try and get the new guys on the back foot early. Though just as much chance of setting up a solid base and getting more expansive as the game opens up. We've sort of lost a bit of identity now Danny Rowe has gone, so guess he's just trying to figure out his best system to move forwards with.

We've got a defender on trial who's apparently played over 300 games in the Football League.

Apparently signing in the next couple of days.
Hopefully this means we never see Acheampong in a Stones shirt again.....been a absolute liability for us.

Not sure if this is the best place to put this, but we have rejected an approach from a league club for Waddock and Rowe. Good to hear they are both committed to the club and hopefully returning us to the league at some point.
