Anyone needing a 'keeper? Specifically NL GK of the year 2017/18, Grant Smith, who's probably available on loan until January.

Our number one Josh Vickers got injured in August, seemingly long term at the time, so we signed Sam Slocombe from Bristol Rovers on a loan deal until January so we could then be back up to having two fit 'keepers but Vickers came back way earlier than expected.

So we now have three and Smith's the only one we can do anything with.

I've heard you want him on loan, but we're not keen on letting him go.

Tervet has opened up a real can of worms here. Not sure the situation is anywhere near what he's made it out to be. Don't think we need to sell anybody for a start. Powell originally was only going on loan (as he asked) but Maidstone wanted it permanently and we were happy to allow it, seen as we still have Rance, Payne, Adams and Drury in that position.

For whatever reason it's not worked out for Cheek, but he's barely played so it won't be much of a loss.

Whispers down here that Ebbsfleet are willing to let Danny Kedwell, Corey Whitely, Michael Cheek and one other player all leave - With ourselves and Dagenham monitoring the situation.

We're keen on Whitely and Dagenham apparently want all 4 players that are avaliable - Hence why Eliott Romain was allowed to join Maidstone.

Whitely apparently though wants to wait until January to look at his options further, think he wants to move to a league club.

Just a few rumours I heard, not sure how true they are............

If true, then I would hazard a guess at Jack Payne. Probably our four highest earners.

Don't know how long Kedwell is contracted for, but can't see anybody wanting to pay for him. He'd be the biggest loss, as he's also our academy manager!

Whitely would also be sorely missed.

Would be a shame to see him go, been a great servant and will go down as a Maidstone legend.....but the last season and a bit he's been rather accident prone.

Very good shot stopper, will pull off some brilliant saves, but he's very flappy on crosses, not the greatest kicker and prone to some real brain fart moments (just look at the highlights of Saturday's game)

I've been surprised at how many games Harris has played for Tranmere to be honest. Aside from the odd good game, mostly as his contract was running out, he looked done for the last two seasons with us. He was particularly poor under Andy Morrell in that 2013-2014 Newport playoff final hangover one. Arguably our worst performer that year.

No smoke without fire and someone from Fleetwood has been rumoured all week. Only 28 and based on what he's done in L1 the past 3 years it would seem a bit of a coup.

Rumours of Leeds, Derby, Norwich and Forest showing interest in Bonne. Going to be tough to keep hold on to him this January and would pretty much ruin our promotion bid I feel. Ideal would be to keep hold of him until the end of the season and sell him for a decent fee (with double his current goal tally hopefully!). Would be very difficult to replace him in Jan.

Bonne is a great non league striker and he could easily play for a league side. Will he ever be good enough to play for Leeds? No.

Does bump the asking price up by several quid though.

Bonne is a great non league striker and he could easily play for a league side. Will he ever be good enough to play for Leeds? No.

I’m enjoying the hype around him. Mid-table League One is his absolute ceiling IMHO, but all the media attention he’s getting should get us double what he’s worth.
