Why do Wrexham always have loan strikers? Surely they can go and buy one. Solid at the back but shite up top. Haven’t they just received a load of money

Just seems to be the way we do things. Neglected up front for a few years or so now. I think the budget allocation is back & midfield heavy and thus leaves us less to play with up top.

We try to sign strikers, but we always get gazumped by one of those fucking bankrolled tinpot village teams offering more money and longer contracts. It's almost impossible to compete at this level with average gates of only 4,600.

You would think everybody would want to play in front of that many people. Excellent support, decent side just lack a bit up top

You must have missed the news when they signed Rhead and Cook.

We are close to signing former Macclesfield and Tranmere keeper Sam Ramsbottom who we had on trial on Saturday. Our 3rd keeper!

Looks like your owners are really backing heath and rightly so, his track record almost guarantees you a spot in the playoffs at least. However, don’t expect much in the National from him if you were to make it. Tactics are easily found out at this level and teams will be able to handle the long ball game a lot more effectively.

Lots of noise on Red Passion about former Swansea and Brighton midfielder Kemy Agustien. Apparently he's now left Nuneaton Borough, not long after signing for them.

Isn't he in fact a very decent player at this level? Prediction revised to 8th.

Today we have made youngsters Joe Rowley, Charlie Wakefield and Ify ofuegbu available for loan.

Rowley in particular would be a great capture for most teams in this league. MA just wants them to get game time in men's football as they're clearly not part of his first 16 plans atm

Rumours that David Mooney will be offloaded to Concord Rangers. Good news as he's been shite for us since he came back.

Hopefully we can bring in someone better up front if this happens.

Apparently we've signed Simon Lenighan. Hardly anyone I'd want less in this squad. Fuck.
Off field antics aside, he can play but seems to lack the desire to work hard. When teams hit us on the break last season it was infuriating to see him just jogging back as the opposition raced past him!

Cheers for the nollidge Steve. Interesting you say he had some talent, as he was pants for us at Chester when we had him for I think 45 minutes of competitive football a few years back. As well as being as yous I believe he's turned out for Harrogant, Clitheroe, Warrington and Shaw Lane in that time among others, so a real journeyman who will turn up virtually anywhere. Is it true (on top of his two very grave trials) that he tried attacking some of your fans last season?

Anyway, he was gash today. Our former DM, Lois Maynard, lined up as Lenighan's like for Salford and it was tragically comedic how Maynard dictated play so calmly, while Lenighan trudged about and looked flustered whenever he got the ball, almost always giving it away and almost never pursuing it himself. It caused us to have a hollowed out team tonight that ultimately set the tone, made us resort to playjng on the flanks including our CFs, and the weakening that caused largely accounts for our loss.

We're hardly the most progressive lot at the Shay, but virtually everyone wants rid of him now, and most of those would probably stick by that were he a quality performer. It has really knocked me back since learning of this signing how crass it is to look past the behaviour of a violent misogynist for the sake of a sport where he'll be hoping for huge praise wherever he goes. Our manager has come over as a youngish family man so such an amoral choice of player, after carefully choosing some gems in recent past, has really dented our faith in him. Simply very hard to take all around, as Fullarton already has some great results to his name with us.

The only time we saw his 'best' was in the fa cup game away at Accy. He just proved that he was mugging us off the rest of the time. Serial jogger.
He'd star in walking football though :D

I didn't hear of him getting involved with fans.
