What are you going to do if Wrexham are still in the National League in 3 years. Cancel your Netflix subscription and never watch a Ryan Reynolds film again. That or accept you have found your level.
Yes, and hope that TikTok and Expedia go bust. Obvs

They probably will not but the success of any sponsor is not dependent on any football club. Its just publicity. Chevrolet do not depend on Manchester United being good. They rely on their fame.

Am i? They get a a load of money and suddenly start looking at the Championship in 5 years. Is that any different than AFC Fylde with their 2022 badge. Unless you are being backed by a mega rich owner who gives a crap you are nothing more than a one night stand.
The current owners of our club said from the start that this was a long term project. They did not throw money at it. They built it up with a vision, a plan was in place. We did it the right way.
Money does not mean success in the NL. If it did then Eastleigh would be an EFL veteran.

One club called Belmont. At least do some fact checking before you try to sound clever.

"Tranmere Rovers were, initially, formed as Belmont Football Club when the football arms of two cricket clubs – Lyndhurst Wanderers and Belmont – came together in 1884"

Apropos of nothing, the local special school where I'm from was called Belmont.

If we are still in non-league in 3 years then I'll just keep supporting them as I have done all my life. It doesn't really matter what league we are in, they are my club.

You keep saying we are too full of ourselves, then on the other hand go on about how we are at our real level. The two clubs have got a very similar 'natural level'. You had a few more years at step 2 than we did because of your record in the 90s, and we've been non league longer than you have, because we got fucked over by our owners in the early 2000s. But over the 100 years since we both went pro both clubs have spent more than half that time in the equivalent of League 1. Your highest ever league attendance is against us. Im not sure why you are insinuating that Tranmere are some huge club and we are some jumped up village team. We are both fairly small clubs who have mostly knocked around the bottom two divisions . Even if we manage to buy our way out of this league the owners sights are firmly on League 1, no higher.

Don't really read the other forums but is Mas posting in the lge 2 forums? If not Rob is madder.
Yeah Masi must still post in there as there is always a ‘show ignored content’ whenever I’m browsing in there.

Dean Furman just screams captain material. Exactly the kind of player I want in the middle of the park, very good at dictating the play

Stockport County.
Furman would be a good signing I reckon. That's the type of player I'd like here in midfield.

We definitely need a bit of experience added to the squad, which is pretty young atm, so he ticks a lot of boxes.

Yeah! I remember him at Oldham quite a few years ago, just oozes class and looks like a leader and if he’s trusted to captain his national side, then definitely so

He sounds the sort of player we need. We need that experienced captain type midfielder.

If we bring in players like Furman, David Jones and Hope Akpan, that’s some experience for this level

You’d want one of them, which is why I assume you’ve got them all on trial to decide which. Two or three in one midfield would constantly get overrun by younger legs, as we know from our Doyle/Reeves/O’Brien midfield of last season.

You don’t play all of them, it’s just having them around the camp. Experience off the bench to close out the game etc

We already have Young and king Jordan in midfield we just need an experienced head with them

Those three would all have a very very decent wage at this level. Signing them all up to "be around the camp" is mental.

I doubt any of those (maybe Jones excepted having been without a club for quite a long time) would be dropping to this league not to play.
