A number ten hahahaha.

I don’t now anything about him? Is he a actually an attacking midfielder? I’d ask the kiddie fans to elaborate but I imagine they are even more depressed than us tonight.

I'd be surprised if they are letting Webb recruit when he's not even got the job yet

Rumours we're interested in Mo Sagaf from Daggers

Class player, but unless you're offering him crazy money it makes no sense for him to join you guys at this stage of his career. Should be looking up not down.

Done deal for the summer I’ve heard hence why he’s been dropped and now not in McMahon’s plans. Also Will Wright will likely follow him but not a done deal yet.

Ah so what I heard was true and we are in for a couple of daggers players. We’ll be about next year going to be very hard to win the league with Wrexham spending millions but we’ll be in the mix for sure

Austin is a Kiddy legend, made of 200 appearances for the club and has played in basically every position bar CB and in goal but if a manager asked him to I'm sure he'd do it.

He is a number 10 now but it took 5 managers to realise after we've spent most of his career here trying to make him a fullback. Penn stuck him in the number 10 spot and he's flourished.

I honestly think we hold all the cards though. He's contracted until 2023, we're in our own promotion push so we've got no reason to sell and with the cup run it's not like we're desperate for the money. To me right now he's worth 6 figures minimum.

Was he injured or something last season? Would be an obscene signing at this level if he's fit.
Sounds like he's struggled with mental health and physical issues. If he's over all of that he would be an insane addition, I agree.

Didn't expect to be posting in transfer rumours again until the summer.

Tomlin would be a luxury player but even if he is fit enough for 45 mins it would probably be worth a go, could be a player to get us over the line in key games and we can certainly afford the financial risk.

Seen him twice in Southend-Peterborough games, went into the games thinking, christ we better not let Tomlin run the show but there was actually no danger of it because he was that unfit. I'd also say you can't count on him to come off the bench and change a game if you want 20 minutes out of him cos when he's not fit enough he just can't get up to the speed of the game.
However, if you can get the first half out of him and he's got decent fitness levels then he will be the best player in this division by a huge distance and more than likely win man of the match awards playing just a single half.

It just seems a massive gamble. Though to be fair we can afford these now.
If he has got over whatever has plagued him in the past and is getting fit, he could be pivotal in securing a play off spot.
Don't think he has time to get fit and push us to the title! :)

I don’t mean to be unkind, but from the (admittedly not very knowledgeable) outside looking in there appears to be an air of desperation about Wrexham‘s transfer dealings.

I think Parkinson has realised that his job is likely on the line now and is doing all he can to keep it.
I wouldn't say the trial of Tomlin is desperation by any means. Under trust ownership it definitely would have panic button undertones but now we can afford to take gambles. He may never prove his fitness and get any where near the first team, or he may prove a level of fitness and end up bossing our midfield.

I wouldn't say desperation as to be honest, we have nothing to lose.
And i wouldn't say the signings of Palmer and O connor could be classed as desperation. But we probably got fleeced for more than we should have!
