You're just twisting his words. It's crystal clear what he's saying. We are not going to be spunking money on mercenaries, and like last season our budget will be no where near the biggest in the league.

Chapple was previously the commercial manager before we got a proper one. He helps GH and Thommo with football 'stuff' when he's not in the club shop selling mousemats and keyrings. All it says is that Cooper won't be held to ransom by players thinking FGR are a gravy train (which is going to be hard for him but is an attitude to be applauded). It doesn't mean you aren't moneybags. The fact that you are able to carry 5.4 mil of debt would suggest you are.
