Eastleigh have flown a striker in from France this morning to sign his contract.
Landed at Southampton airport at 10.30am & needs to get back to France later today as he's busy in some football tournament or something..

Southend are after Habergham, so I'm not sure that one will be happening now. He's away at the minute anyway so I doubt we'll hear anything for another week or so.

I've heard our first signing was spotted boarding his private charter at Leeds/Bradford an hour ago bound for Hawarden. Just waiting for a late running Beluga to land and I expect he'll be here following that.

Watch this space.

In very early in negotiations with James Caton. I think he'll be holding out for an FL Club tbh.

12.30pm - Lincs Echo reports James Caton isn't in talks with Lincoln
2pm - Radio Lincs guy confirms we're in talks with James Caton

Cooper still looking to add more signings, with at least 3 more coming in. A goalkeeper, left back and striker. But he hasn't ruled out making further additions to that if they are better then what we've got.

Can see us running with a bigger squad then last season, currently have 23 signed with one still with a contract offer on the table (Carter) and a couple more invited to train with us. So can see us running with a 27-30 man squad, with 7 strikers if we add the one more Cooper has targeted.

Should have plenty of options and strength in depth.

Nah, just a couple of hours of fitness checks and sports science things ready for the new season. Some did it today, those who couldn't make today due to holidays did it last week.

I assume we're back on July 4th for pre-season.
June 28th apparently

I think a few more that are under contract will be released before the season starts, or at least by the end of the window.

See never started by us.... So immature man

Being serious though - you were just saying the other day how your budget is the same as many other teams, so just asking if you think that's still the case? I personally can't see 27-30 Forest Green players costing the same as 21-22 Barrow players. Not even close.

Brendan Uggerall rumoured to be signing for Chester. Anyone know anything about him?

Ha!

You're both bankrolled tinpotters as far as I can see :2thumb:

Mills seems intent on starting the season with 13 players. Apparently that's enough to piss the league.

Has Jalal been officially announced yet?

Tranmere forums are suggesting that Cole Stockton is on his way to Wrexham. If true it could be a good signing as the lad has plenty of potential to develop into a decent lower league striker.

This has cropped up on ours as well, probably people reading speculation in your site.

Doesn't match wih what Mills is saying by who knows? I wouldn't say no to a new striker.

Wrexham make sure your supporters near the corner flags are on their guard at all times when stockton is about they are likely to get hit by one of his shots if your a little bit worried about this just stand inside the goal you will be perfectly safe

Zak Mills chose Grimsby in the end!

Well that's a kick in the balls, especially since Cox had been billing him as the next Jordan Williams-esque signing. As the York fan alluded to earlier in the thread, maybe Zak knew something that Barrow didn't about Grimsby being interested. Looks like that's what the hold-up was!
