Chris Bush transfer listed having triggered a new deal due to 30 appearances.

Incredibly irresponsible from Moyses if so, given that he ended the season with 32 appearances and we had Howe and Waterfall available for selection for the most part of his final couple of months. Could have been avoided very easily.

Knew they would transfer list a few after the fitness tests and Bush was bound to be near the top of the list, carrying far too timber imho.

Two, possibly three, in for us by midweek and one of those is a striker.

Chris Bush, transfer listed earlier in the week, is in talks with two southern based Clubs. Maidstone was mentioned on one of our forums when the news broke. No idea how true that's likely to be.

The tumbleweeds are still rolling down Bumpers Lane, now the only club not to sign anybody yet.

We have offered deals to a full back and a centre back though, apparently both played for clubs who finished in the top ten last season.

Dan Cowan (rb) and Neil Byrne (CB) neither signed new deals with us yet.

Wouldn't be a complete surprise if we were talking to him, especially as our regular left-back Chris Arthur has gone to Crawley. Bush was on loan to us about five years ago and looked a really good prospect at that stage.

Chester fans on Deva Chat seem in mortal fear of Blame Hudson.

Truth is he's not as bad as some on RP would have you believe. If he had a settled CB partner (preferably someone with a bit if experience) he could be very good.

He's also a goal threat at set pieces. Would be a good signing for Chester imo.

Blaine Hudson is definitely signing for us. His mate showed me the text from him saying he was signing for us when he gets back off his hols. He's a replacement for Ben Hennighan, so a definite downgrade.

Hudson will be decent for Chester. I think we've improved our defence overall though by swapping Smith, Fyfield and Hudson for Riley, Bencherif and Tilt.

I suppose he's a downgrade if you look at it like that, but he's still a good defender with some excellent attributes. Prone to some dodgy moments but what young defender isn't? I've always felt he could develop into a really good player at this level. Seems a 'top lad' as well. He punched his way out of a car!

Completely agree. Hudson was the only one I was disappointed about that wasn't retained. Has plenty of potential. Not sure what he's like off the field as you hear rumours but I'd have kept him.

He'd be alongside Astles, who's also relatively young and inexperienced still. Mind you being coached by Sharps would do him some good you would have thought.

Gulls fans any of word on where Dan Butler may end up? I hear he had a good season for you and we need a left back. Obviously locations wise it would be highly possible but not sure if you think he'd be good enough for L2?

Not heard anything at all, but he's about 2 weeks past the deadline to sign a new contract here so looks to be moving on somewhere. Personally I would say he's good enough for League Two, although Portsmouth did release him 12 months ago. Since he signed for us he's been terrific, is still young and has a first class attitude, so I think he'd be an excellent signing for any side in L2 or Conference.

Cheers.

He'd be the sort of left back we need imo. To be honest anyone is better than Craig Woodman who's been piss poor for ages.

Apparently he weighed in at 120kgs, not a clue what this in old money but I'm guessing it's not very good!
Edit just been on a conversion chart and its 18 stone 12 pounds! He's just over 6 foot tall.

Sean Rigg, Sam Russell, Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Matt Tubbs some names we're rumoured to be interested in.

No way he's 18 stone. He's not that big.

We're reported to have offered Elliot Durrell a contract after his release from Tamworth. There's absolutely to truth in the rumour that we're building a team of ex-Wrexham players. Gawd help us. Macca doesn't know what he's doing.

Duzza can play football and score goals. Never quite got going at Wrexham, and apart from being their top score last season I'm not sure just how well he's done for Tamworth, but potentially could be a really good replacement for Rooney.

I liked Durrell. I don't think he was ever really given a chance in his preferred position, he was always pushed out wide and he doesn't have the pace for that. Considering he was this free kick genius before he signed for us, the fact he never really took one was bizarre too. He might not have been quite ready for full time football but he was only given one season. Part time football at Chester will suit him I think.
