Danny Racchi impressed most Wrexham fans in the earlier pre season games last season, then I went to see him v Stoke and he looked pretty lightweight. Although to be fair no one looked good that day. As for Harrad, can't say I know a lot about him, but I know he's scored goals down here before.
I don't understand why most Wrexham fans seem to be against Ingham signing, I didn't think he was too bad when we first had him but he was much younger back then anyway, I'm sure he's improved and even if he hasn't, after he left us he went and got promoted with York, so can't be that bad..

Ingham would be a definate downgrade on Taylor.

My memories of him are not very rosey and I think we can do better. I can't think of any reason we'd pay a fee for him as (possibly) rumoured; but then again Mills thought Belford was a 'top keeper'.

Danny Racchi was excellent in his time here. Ironically he replaced Simon Heslop, and we went from 24th in the league and 12 points adrift of safety to getting 30 points in 15 games and surviving with two games to play. He was 'released' by us because we don't have enough money to offer him a deal to make relocating worthwhile, but with a bigger budget we would have liked to keep him.

Sean Harrad scored 3 in 18 after signing around the same time, but he did well supporting Nathan Blissett. He's obviously not the player he once was but still has enough for a supporting role at this level. Not a goalscorer but does his bit for the team.

Racchi would be a good player for any side in this league - if Heslop impressed you then Racchi would be a cult hero!

He'll do very well with you; in fact I'm slightly surprised you've got him as I know there were a number of Football league clubs interested in him. I'll be very interested to know how he gets on; might even pop up to Forest Green once or twice this season.

How is Rowe-Turner still at this level.

Was very good during the 2013/14 season for us but went badly wrong and he has been absolutely awful since. Relegated with us in 14/15, Kidder minster in 15/16 where he spent the final few months at Nuneaton during which time he managed to concede two penalties in one game against us.

The striker we were due to sign today has apparently let us down at last minute, having booked a medical, and is off to a L2 Club. That's two strikers we've missed out on this week to L2 Clubs!

Still hopeful of a defender tomorrow and striker either Thursday or Friday.
