We are reportedly front runners to sign Kingsley James from Halifax according to the Chester Chronicle.

Would be very happy with that!

We are apparently signing Shwan Jalal on either Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on how quickly hes back in the area on his return from Iraq. He should be back by tonight.

Its been a bit of a saga this one. I believe he would be a good signing though from what ive read.

Yan Klukoswki set to sign for a Conference National team this week, not sure which one (though apparently not Eastleigh). Has been playing for Newport in L2 but never set it on fire.
Scored 49 goals in 4 seasons with us from midfield (though occasionally played wide in a front three), so is a superb finisher, making beautifully timed late runs into the box. Decent at free-kicks and a good engine, though not great at tackling, or in the air, and for a bloke who looks a bit like Dolph, not very physical.
Given he lives in Chippenham, my money is on either one of the London teams (Aldershot, Boreham Wood, Woking, Sutton) or one of the midlands teams (Macclesfield, Chester, Wrexham).
If I had to narrow it further - Boreham Wood or Macc I'd guess.

Yep, he's a good keeper, although he seems very injury prone so you'll need a decent number 2 behind him.

Thats possibly where the poo hits the fan abit because im not convinced we are signing one. Youth team goalie is my hunch.

Yeah Liam Sharpe. If the worst happens though, I'm guessing we can just loan a new keeper in anytime with this new system?

Might well be, Rob Smith at Telford certainly seems to think he's heading our way. If that does happen it'll be the second year in a row that Telford have spouted in the press that someone was going to sign for us.

I'd seen somewhere that Sharpe had left but don't think I've seen it officially reported that he's left

Think you are right though . He will just loan someone in if he needs to

Wish my adopted club would sign some players. Dover have let about six go, Payne and Deverdics gone, Raggett looks likely to follow in the next 7-10 days and all they have signed is the lad from Aldershot, Stephenson is it, who is okay but hardly a signing to inspire.
I look with envy at the plethora of signings everyone else is making, and almost bloody daily, and our odds must be getting bigger and bigger. More than a bit worrying

Was mentioned on our forum earlier in the summer, though no idea if that was just a wild guess. Wouldn't be the first to relocate, and Cox has already said we're signing a midfielder with FL experience. Maybe not, but he would do well in this team.

You'd be lucky to have him.
Don't get me wrong, he definitely has his limitations in terms of lack of pace, heading ability and willingness to get "stuck in" and be physical. When the going got tough, games tended to pass him by. This is really his level.
But he is an absolutely top bloke and a great example off the pitch. Married, doesn't drink, got a uni degree, articulate, really nice guy, excellent pro. Most importantly he will score u goals from midfield.

It's rumoured Grimsby are after our 2 centre midfielders, what is the standard of this league? We went down with the worst midfield I've witnessed in my life,if they sign both will have a bet on them doing a quick return to this league, summerfield is ok but inconsistent and could be good with a descent midfield but with Barrett useless

All the signings Grimsby have made look pretty poor to me from an outsider.

Is one of them Steve Arnold? I hope so after those nasty things you said about him.
