I dunno, Torquay seem to let anyone go- they sold off the majority of last years good players for peanuts why not him?

Pretty sure their manager doesn’t really sign the players, unless they’ve totally changed the set up for Cooper.

Although they’re absolutely chaotic and badly run enough to spend £1m on a non-league striker they could’ve had for free a few months ago.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s true. They only have two strikers, Lewis Grabban and Lyle Taylor, the former is nearly 34 and the latter no-one really rates

In all seriousness no one bar Ipswich, Sunderland and Wigan are even paying a Transfer fee
Tshimango aint no Vardy and he more than likely will stay in the National league unless Chesterfield come up

This is my thinking, I'd assume that if Mullin to Forest is a done deal then Norwood coming here is also finalised. A far more realistic prospect than Wootton or Tshimanga unless those 2 have release clauses.

If they are worried about relegation then £1m for someone to maybe score a few goals to keep them up will be worth it.

I'd be surprised if he goes though, he's both of the owners golden boy so it's going to look really bad if he leaves after 6 months. I do think he could probably cut it at Championship level but imagine he'd be a rotation player.

All players mentioned are not fit to lace Grabban boots......why would they go for a inferior player?

I would be very surprised if Mullin doesn't have some kind of release clause, although it is probably reliant on the club meeting certain target's like promotion this season, or being in a certain position when the window is open and also probably only applies to clubs at a certain level.

Him going to Forest for a Million in January is definitely plausible, but I would think it more likely that we appease him by spending big on the squad (Including his mate Norwood) and have an unspoken agreement that if we don't go up this season we will let it happen in the summer.

If we don't go up this season then I doubt he will be here for the next.
