APPARENTLY we're now right up to the limit with FFP, so if there's any more incomings we will have to ship players out.

Chance of us getting the £1.2m back on Conor Sammon?

Is there any point in worrying about FFP after what happened with QPR?

Kevin McDonald contract talks have stalled. Starting to get disillusion with our intent to compete this season. Our rivals are showing a lot of ambition to improve this season whilst we seem to be taking backward steps.

Frustrating to see our rivals sign players like McEachran, Hoffman etc. No doubt we will sign the best from Northampton with shite like Ivan Toney to fit well along side the 2m man Conor Coady. The ambition we seem to be showing compared to other clubs at the moment, finishing in mid table would be considered a good season. Selling James Henry will also be a big mistake.

Dyche's comments are almost pitiful. He's almost trying to convince that players join Burnley for nothing more than the glory of playing at Turf Moore - I'd be shocked if any of them are even on minimum wage.

I really don't get the point: if he was to go and buy someone from Rotherham for a million pound and give them a bit more money then has the player become a mercenary and gone for the money? If not, then what's the difference between Shackell moving to Derby?

It's easy to see that he's frustrated, but to make things up about our spending is just laughable, especially when the accounts will come out.

The club announced, once again, we're within financial fair play. Yet, he seems to know a lot more than our financial officers, owners and board of directors because he's 'heard' things.

He should really focus on getting a replacement captain before the start of the season, otherwise he'll have something else to moan about.

So Lansbury hasn't even been bid for, never mind accepted.

Chuffed with that. Best midfielder in the league on his day and really makes us tick. The engine room of our team and we would be in big trouble without him.

On what proof? Best midfielder in Nottingham on his day, maybe, but in the league - nah, not even close!

Good player, was on the bench for the majority of last season, but so was JET.

Any source? I've not heard anything and we've barely got a squad as it is.

Cracking signing on a free. Some very good and low-cost business done by Rotherham this year.
1 in 4 record in this division, not what I would describe as "cracking". Solid substitute option perhaps.

Thought I didn't hear his name mentioned last season.

We're meant to be signing a left back today and a guy on pne online said it's him. It seems I may have jumped the gun a bit though.

No idea where you've heard that.
Just on the forums. Nothing gets leaked from the club so all we go on are rumours to try make this window a little less boring

Would be surprising for us to let another squad member go without a direct replacement lined up, squads small enough as it is.

Take it with a pinch of salt. I find it very hard to believe considering he's been pictured in Portugal this morning.

Didn't they post something along the lines of it being a banned poster under a new username?

Didn't get the chance to see!

If it is true, SC and co must be adrenaline junkies, looking to get by with the smallest squad possible.

That's good news, I'd hope we would look for better than your second choice left back for our first choice place, no offence :p

Cunningham would be underwhelming, might as well have kept Laird.

Being fair he could easily do a good job, was our left back when we were last in the division just the squad wasn't up to it. It was just then unfortunate for him that Joe Bryan developed into the player he did otherwise he definitely would have played more for us in league 1.
