Really .................................. How much do you think Brentford would be prepared to pay/
according to Preston fans they seem to think they can get him for 600k, but I think you will all need to treble it to get him before the window closes as Shrewsbury are in talks to extend his contract so he does not go for peanuts after January!
The ITKs on our side seem to think we've agreed a £600k fee - so I reckon that's your asking price.
You'd hope we'd be able to convince him to join us instead of Preston, would be very happy with this signing if we can pull it off.

Unless you can offer better wages, then you'd imagine his most likely destination would be Preston. That is of course, if they're interested.

I would have thought given all the chances we've given to young players from lower leagues, we'd be pretty attractive to potential players. Plus we play some very good football.

Think the Woods to Preston link is bullshit, if we sign anyone (which I don't think we will) it'll be a winger or a centreback.

We've ended our interest in Forestieri. Basically weren't gonna hang around waiting on an answer whilst he waited for better options so we've moved on to other targets.

We're heavily linked with him.

Joey Barton's signed for Burnley. Had that been on the cards? Seems surprising, Dyche doesn't often go for 'names' does he?

He does like a hard worker though, which is exactly what you get with Joey. He will keep going until the very end, and has some quality to go with it.

I remember after we played Burnley, he took to Twitter to mock Burnley and everything involved in it (because they threw a bottle of drink at his head). I am sure they wont have forgotten what he said.

From memory van La Parra had an excellent start, but then just fell off the radar completely. Barely remember hearing his name during the second half of the season (except when he scored a weird goal against us), not sure if he picked up any injuries.

Add to that a £1.5m bid accepted for Elvis Manu, a Feyenoord winger. Apparently also Brighton and Watford interested.
Some Dutch news sites seem to be suggesting he's having (or had) a medical with us.

Would appear to be a promising addition if true, definitely in need of a couple more attacking players. Mail were linking him with Leverkusen and Sporting as well yesterday - didn't think we had much chance.

He can... uhm... run very fast ... that is about it. He also has a great ability of smashing a ball over the bar when he's 5 yards from goal.

You're more than welcome to take him.

Don't think he'd be the only one we bring in. I guess some genuine pace in the squad would be a plus, even if it's off the bench.

Very good skilful player on his day.

Won't get many goals but should create a few.

Djuricin confirmed. Great signing, shame we didn't get him in 6 months ago like we should have.

Couple more in would be lovely

Really inspired by the Tommy Oar signing, fantastic piece of business by McCarthy once again.

No idea on Piotr Malarczyk but he captained his side in the top Polish league and was held in high regards. At just 8.5k, who knows?

Bristol City are selling Fredericks already. I sense a bid from them for our Nathan Byrne coming.

Wolves
apparently just fast, disappointed in this one
How I wrote him up....
31 - Rajiv van la Parra (RW). Rising star. Can also player as a striker and his pace will cause a lot of problems. Wolves have spent the last three seasons attacking more down the left, but this is likely to switch as RVLP becomes the new Sako. Extremely intelligent player who links well with Afobe, Dicko and Edwards in particular. I feel this will be his season. Arrived from Heerenveen a year ago.

Must admit I've been disappointed with how poor he has been. He seems disinterested and he seems unable to adapt to the obvious tactic of blocking him as he runs. His corner taking has been poor as well, with one against Cardiff (IIRC) sailing over every one and bothering shoppers in Llanelli.

I think he needs to be 'unlocked' by a manager somehow, and I suspect he will go on to great things. Really thought he'd become a mainstay this season...but obviously not. Wish him well though. Expected him to go to a big club like Rotherham or Fulham though, rather than a smaller, niche club like Leeds.

Hopefully we can unlock something should it go through. At least it's a case of strengthening the squad rather than putting all our hopes on him. Just gives us another option, with pace.
