I didn't go unfortunately. Dad's birthday so went to Upton Park with him (Wolves fans, Zyro looks handy but lazy)

Heard from mates though that you guys looked good today.

Lazy, sounds like a perfect fit for us

Did you manage to see Bjorn Sigurdarson's injury? Heard it might be a bad one, being strechered off and all.

Some of the Wolves players seemed to either be mimicing or mocking KJ on twitter last night, but all the tweets are gone now. Jed Wallace has joined Millwall onloan, and the Batth and Byrne were saying that they hoped he could show 'power', which is what KJ keeps saying in press conferences.

Dickhead behaviour, really poor. Batth is captain FFS.

Agree that he shouldn't have done it considering he's the captain and a player for the club as it sends out the wrong message, but on the other hand I don't blame him one bit for being disillusioned with the club's hierarchy, I think every fans feels like that at the moment.

No idea what happened on that one. He was all on his own when it happened, chasing after someone who had the ball, so a few of us thought it might be a Muamba like situation. Thankfully it doesn't seem to be anywhere near that bad.

Yeah it was a re-occurance of his back injury as far as I know. Early scan reports imply he's probably going to be out for the season. A shame it was his first start for us in 2 years...

Small bid for Marcus Olsson rejected accord ding to Nicko.

This rumours been hanging around for a few months, we do need cover at LB with Fozzy out for the season and Warnock being the only recognised LB. Warnock has been very, very good so it's whether to take the risk or not. Sounds like if we can do it on the cheap, we will.

Luciano Becchio has signed or will sign until the end of the season ive heard, nothing official atm. More in and outs next week aswel by sounds of it. Bowery and Halford been transfer listed, Green, Collins and Richardson should be on that list aswel if Redfearn has any brains.

Looks like we asked about Clough and Bristol City priced us out of a move according to Nixon.

They priced everyone out. Bolton were rumoured to be looking for £1.5m.

An unnamed Championship club bid for Bradshaw today...according to the Birmingham Mail (who reported it) it was Birmingham. £650k.

SOD came out in the press shortly after and said the club hadn't received a single bid for any of our players so far this month.

So most likely press bollocks trying to sell papers. You can double £650k at least before he leaves.
I doubt Gary Rowett would spend what little transfer money we have on Tom Bradshaw.

We have James Vaughan and Brock-Madsen as backup to Clayton Donaldson who is probably the best lone striker in the Championship.

Can't say I know too much about Clough. Seem snippets of him and he's looked lively but that's a lot of money for someone who has only played 20 times. That said other fans seem to rate him, and if paying a tad over the odds for him means we get him then needs must. We are desperate.

£3m is not 500k more.
It's £2m up front, an extra £1m if the addons are met.

Besides - most clubs in this division could bid £1.5m, our only way of capturing him was to outbid everyone else.

It's still a bid of £3m.

A lot of our transfers are made up like that, but people still say we paid £4m for Butterfield, or £3m for Blackman etc etc.

I think every transfer nowadays is paid partly in installments. Say we get 10m for Afobe, I'd hazard a guess at only 6-7m of it being up front, and the rest in add ons (IE, if Bournemouth stay up, etc).

On the Bradshaw bid, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it wasn't us. We were keen on him in the summer I believe. We are also after a younger replacement for Wilbs and Bradshaw could well be that man.

One of the guys on sky sports news last year who was some kind of finances expert said all deals are actually paid in instalments, with a few exceptions, Chelsea were one, as they also always pay outright, which is part of there appeal, and was the direct reason they get the winger I now forget that Liverpool were in talks with from the Swiss side, his club pulled the deal on him going to Liverpool (Curado or something? they never played him and her went to Italy I think) once Chelsea got involved as they were getting the fee outright.

I remember that when Wolves were holding out for £14 million for Stephen Fletcher, we took £12 million off Sunderland on the condition that it was paid in full, was reported at the fans parliament I believe.

Liverpool's crazy deal for Glenn Johnson off Portsmouth was also one I remember where part of the fee was actually the writing off of the money Portsmouth owed Liverpool for Crouch as there was still a significant amount left and they had already asked about reworking the terms.

Join us next time on tales that Bunny once heard yet vaguely remembers, when we will be looking at the careers of backup 90s goal keepers.

It turns out no-one bid for Bradshaw, our manager rung up our local reporter and told him that no-one has come in for him. So no, you haven't made a bid for him.
