Why the fuck would he want to leave PNE for us currently? Stupid bid.

Not our player though, only on a 28 day loan, United could easily make life uncomfortable for him, had no problems fucking him over this summer during the De Gea saga.

I know, but he'd have a say in whether the loan gets terminated or not, and whether he is actually interested. It's not as if United are desperate for the money either.

Can't terminate 28 day loans can you?

Oh and Clough officially turns down Bristol City

O'Donnell is a fantastic shot stopper, can make absolute world class reaction saves all day long.

But, he is shocking at coming for crosses. He can't time them right and is reluctant to come off his line for any cross really, no surprise to see Bristol conceded 2 headers yesterday.

JJH, decent but been injured, I think.

We've made a lower bid for Clough now, naughty.

Brentford fans will shoot me down for this but how the hell is Alan Judge worth 8m? I think he is a good player at this level, but 8 million pounds... seriously?

More assists than any other player this season and over the past year and half, 10 goals this season from midfield already, could easily reach 20 by the end. Pretty awesome statistics. Players that do that well in this division usually go for that kind of amount.

I would say he isn't worth 8m but given how much other players are costing I don't think we should take any less. Pretty much single handedly dragging us through this season.

Didn't know those stats, fair play.

Just hard to adapt to transfer fees and such these days, especially in the Championship. Derby spending 25m this season, Ross McCormack going for 11m, QPR's crazy spending a few years ago, etc...

I suppose it just shows how dominant money is becoming in football more and more so every year.

McCormack at £11m is starting to look like a good deal

Rich clubs can afford to pay premiums on players who they know can do it here. Yes it's expensive but the rewards are huge.

Unfortunately for Fulham, the rest of their team isn't great...but if you've got a solid spine, signing McCormack or similar - you know you're guaranteed the goals and assists to get you promoted really.

I totally agree. Part of me still thinks receiving £1m for a player is amazing and I'd bite your hand off!

Transfers fees are crazy, we received more money in transfers fees in the 1 year since we got promoted to the Championship than the previous 24 years combined, or something stupid like that.

Crazy to think we sold £15m worth of players, and are still doing alright this season.

Bid accepted from an English club believed to be us for Claudio Beauvue (sp?). Believed to be around 5m.

Lyon's number 9, I fucking hope it isn't as quite frankly it's another one where we don't stand a chance.

Aren't Prem clubs in for him?
Bloody laughable that the fool thinks we can get him when the Prem is on offer elsewhere. He's not learning is he?

Villa were. Celta Vigo in for him as well, 5th in La Liga. If it is us we're wasting our time.

Even I am finding that funny. Aston Villa, Celta Vigo or Bristol City? The guy has lost it and there are rumours about that he's losing something else at 3PM. We shall see.

All over FB mate. No idea if it's true but there's a press conference at 3 today. Quite a few are saying the same thing that he's gone and a replacement is already in place.
We'll see.

Surely it's just the pre-match presser ain't it?

I would have thought so TBH but the rumour has spread very quickly so you never know.
I don't believe it personally bu the fact that SL is making himself available for questions after Saturdays inevitable defeat leads me to think something is afoot.

Liam Grimshaw to be announced later today or tomorrow.

The delay is supposedly something to do with international clearance as he had his loan cut short at Motherwell.

Sounds promising, physical midfielder, who can play across the back four if needed. Grayson loves a utility man.

Burnley have bid for Judge, another offer described as derisory (apparently their offer for Tarkowski was £500k, ridiculously low)

Manager seems to think they've only done it because we're playing them tomorrow and they think it'll give them an advantage. Seems to keep happening to us since we got promoted.

Kermorgant going to Reading
Haven't heard anything concrete from our end. Hopefully we don't offer him any more than 1.5 years given his age.

Bristol City missing out again? Who'd have thought it.

I'm beginning to think nobody else employs scouts. Everyone just waits for us to cock up another deal and step in! :hb:

Edit, as above, Kermorgant to Reading. Considering the whole heap of championship clubs after him, they've obviously put something together to tempt. Charlton have long looked favourites.
