I come on here to read generic football stuff not to be flash mobbed by Bristol City news on every fucking thread
As do we all. It would be great if other fans posted more, then the forum wouldn't be so dead

Just because we are in for Dack doesn't mean we won't be in for Tomlin. Can cover two different positions.

Don't think we will sign either but that's because I'm a pessimistic fuck.
I'm inclined to think it's the club sending a message to Tomlin. We'd love you to come here but if you don't lower your wage demands we've got other options

Think some people have. I just come here cos I like reading views of fans from a variety of clubs
Same here.
I'm not on OTIB any more but that's nothing to do with Dolly. I find this place is usually a better read without the infighting and point scoring.

I still find it funny that there was about 2 pages worth of debate between Bristol City fans, wrongly trying to claim that the Gabon Ivory Coast match wasn't a friendly and that Kodjia is now some sort of international superstar after featuring in two meaningless friendlies against the might of Hungary and Gabon. I've never seen the lad play and given that he's nearly 27 and played just 159 games, scoring just 51 goals and last season in The Championship was the highest he's ever played is quite surprising. From some of the comments from here, you'd be mistaken for thinking he was challenging for the Ballon d'Or.

Not at all NS. We're not saying he's worth £XXM either just that he's under a long contract and we don't want to sell him hence the inflated asking price
Out of interest, you're being linked with Matty Taylor from the methane snorters down here. Any truth in it?

It would be better if we were wanking over Will Grigg's goal against Belarus wouldn't it, like the rest of your fanbase?

I hope so as we've given them a promising youngster permanently as part of the deal!

Most we've spent in about 5 years on one, and probably more than the total amount of players bought in them 5 years!

Did he play in the play off games against the Janners? The only player that stood out for them was the old boy, Doyle??

So after you "couldn't believe" we were arguing about whether Ivory Coast v Gabon was a friendly or not, you are now arguing about whether it was a friendly or not. Deary me.

Couldn't believe? Who said they couldn't believe? I said I found it amusing seeing 2 pages over 24 hours seeing a few people desperately trying to argue a friendly was a proper match to make a player sound better. I am not arguing, as everyone apart from a few Bristol City fanas knows it was a friendly and simply proving to you that it was.

Kodjia might be a very good Championship player who could potentially make the step up to the Premier League but contrary to belief a one off international match doesn't make much of a difference.

I agree with you but it is it a friendly or a qualifier?

We've just signed Robbie Weir from Burton, always thought he was a very average CM myself. Whats the opinion Mr terraceman and others?!

That Dack deal is odd, Ayling got put out for the race incident yet & the whole family image the club are going for why are they going against everything to sign a bloke who was sat in the corner masturbating when some bird was getting raped?

Dack isn't for me as a footballer or a human being

You are aware that no rape actually happened aren't you? Granted, the whole situation was rather odd. If he 'isn't for you' as a footballer, then fine - let's just be glad you'll never be in charge of anyone's scouting network!

On the alleged bid, we were offered more than £2 million in January and turned that down, and since then he's become officially the best player in our league, so this is still bullshit. It was an asking price of £3 million in the winter, it won't be less now.

Really quiet at Hillsborough at the moment, not even revealed our retained list yet although we only have 2 or 3 out of contract. We don't need a lot of work this summer maybe 3-4 quality signings but I'm needing some rumours to get me through.

We're not even getting manager rumours at the moment (probably because our CEO is on holiday). So transfer rumours won't really kick in until after we get a new manager.. So we could end up leaving our business late, again..

Apologies, misquoted you there (unintentionally, that was how I incorrectly remembered your post).

Point still stands mind, extended the most unimportant/irrelevant discussion this forum has probably ever witnessed. Ivory Coast v Gabon will certainly go down in the memory now for the members of 1FF.

(Final point to close this ridiculous matter) I wasn't pretending it was a qualifier to make him seem better for fuck sake, that was how it was listed on soccerway, with Gabon present in the qualifying group. I didn't have a clue that they were hosting the tournament and thus not actually part of the group.

Someone was making out that he was better for being picked over Gervinho & Kalou

So it's not a qualifier but says it is on the official site
