Them jeans tho.
The Walsall podcast One Pod Beyond refers to his arse as a "shelf", so I imagine he wore those in an effort to show it off to his new supporters.

They're not the best eh!
From your knowledge of Winnall and your opinion on Bradshaw, do you think they are similar players Craig / Jonny? I'm intrigued how the 2 might work if played together as from my limited viewings of them, they could end up going for the same balls at times.

My knowledge of Bradshaw is minimal bar the fact he scored 20 goals last season.

My knowledge of Winnall is minimal bar the fact he scored 24 goals last season and used to play for the dingles.

So 44 L1 goals, extremely admirable.
Wilbs and Kieran Agard scored 37 for us in L1 yet contributed a combined total of 11 in the Championship admittedly in slightly fewer games. It's not a criticism as I said before but will be interesting to see how they do at this level playing together.

Kasey Palmer signed on loan from Chelsea for the season. Looks a real talent at youth level, hopefully he can carry that over to the Championship

He says he had plenty of offers and Chelsea left the choice up to him, but due to the way we play and David Wagner as manager there was only one place he was ever going to go. The praise for Wagner seems to be a recurring theme this summer

Chelsea players on loan usually flop. They're treated like royalty at cobham and when the harsh reality hits them they want to go home to mummy Roman

Paper is a wonderful thing. I'm trying not to get excited because we know damn well its not this simple, but we do look damn good on paper.

To be fair Sam Winnall just came through our academy, he never played a first team game for us.

I don't think any other Brewers on here have posted this but we signed central defender Kyle McFadzean on Tuesday from MK Dons for an undisclosed fee which apparently broke our transfer record. I've read it was about £300k. It was then announced on Saturday night that we broke our transfer record again with the signing of midfielder Jackson Irvine from Ross County. 23 years old with a few Aussie international caps under his belt. Not bad for us!

We've had a few trialists with us as well who played in our first friendly. A couple of unknowns...Cieron Keane, a 19 year old left back who was with Nuneaton last season who I assume Cloughie is looking at as "one for the future" and Hyuga Tanner (another Aussie), a kid who was released by Blackburn at the end of last season. Jay Tabb also played in that friendly and may be signing for us and I've also seen Chris O'Grady rumoured to be joining us in the next few days.

EDIT - Chris O'Grady on a season long loan from Brighton. Just announced.

We were one of the clubs, no arguments turning down league one for a championship club. Makes sense.

Come in here to find people from fucking Rotherham and Preston knocking London

What is it they say on social media? That's enough internet for today.

My idea of hell is London.

Pints over £3, you have to travel under ground like rats and if you say 'ayup' to anybody at any time of day they look at you like a knob.

You are aware that there is more to the south than just London right?
Very much so, spent a couple of years living in both Bucks and Bedfordshire, as I said, lack of fucking manners.

I'm beginning to question whether you've even ever seen the North now! Maidstone isn't amazing but compared to the north.....

The north is bloody freezing!
Edited for accuracy. ;)
In all seriousness, I don't mind it oop North and central London, but the urban sprawl is just too big for me. Give me the West country any day.
How on earth do people get on the property ladder in the capital? I thought Bristol properties were dear but the south east is a different ball game altogether. It's just too damn expensive!
I do enjoy visiting the capital but wouldn't want to live there again and I DID try it.
It's not far away for us to be fair.
