Not as good as Garner.

Gray and Hogan are punts that could have gone either way. Big risk. Vibe is shite.

This is making me chuckle. Hogan scored 1 more goal than Garner did last season, despite playing in 34 less games. Vibe scored 8 more despite starting only 29 and going through a 3 month dry spell. I wouldn't worry too much about losing him, and if you're not willing to take a punt on a striker then you'd better start saving up because Aguero won't come cheap.

Luciano Becchio training with us. Oh how far we've come, it was only last season 'we'd kill for a player of his wunt.'

Two transfer windows.

You won't get into the Premier League in the next 10 years or probably ever.

We signed 7;

Shay Facey from Man City.
Alex Cairns from Chesterfield.
Chris Dawson from Leeds.
Aimen Belaid from Levski Sofia.
Lucciano Becchio from some Argentinian side.
Chris Burke from Forest.
Andrew Shinnie from Birmingham.

That's called noticing your weakness' and doing something about em.

Bloody Becchio, you'd kill for a player of that quality wunt you.

Have Wolves actually signed any of these multi million pound superstars yet?

Wasn't someone from Benfica signing for £22m or something earlier this week?

If they have, how do they propose to get round FFP spending those sorts of sums? Still getting parachute payments?

No, its a bit like when your mate plays football manager for the first time and you have to keep explaining that it doesn't matter if he enough money for them, prem players won't sign for Peterborough.

Was wrong about Ola John, apparently he's in Wolverhampton having a medical.

What's he like Reading fans?

Don't get why Wednesday fans are complaining about Sasso, we needed another centre back and he will come in most likely as 4th choice. There's been a massive overreaction from a lot of the mongs on Owlstalk slagging the club for not signing a centre back earlier, but it was very unfortunate for Lees and Semedo to pick up knocks. Pleased with Sasso he knows the squad, knows the way we play and is a very able back up.

The S*n now linking us with George Baldock of MK Dons, they also say the bid for Paterson was 300k plus another 300k in add ons but Hearts want 1.2m. Deluded Jambos.

Can't see that stopping us if we're serious. I'm hoping it's just a smokescreen though as I'd prefer to sign Paterson due to his age. Would take either mind.

What's your point? I never said Garner is better than Hogan so that's irrelevant.

I said that the fee we are getting for Garner isn't enough to buy a decent striker so we would have to take a punt making it a risk. fucking hell, read ffs

One in, one out for us today.

John Brayford joins us on a season long loan. Phil Edwards leaves us for Oxford on a season long loan.

Unfit, inconsistent, but has that occasional bit of quality that shows you why Benfica paid £8m for him.

We tried all season to try and get him fit, but he could generally never perform well for more than 45 minutes. His 60 minute cameos were amazing for about 2 months around January/February, but either side of that, dreadful.

Possibility that he could shine, but I'm not fussed we weren't able to keep him.

His brother (Collins John) was better...

Heard a few days ago we were interested in Ariyibi of Chesterfield (who used to be on our books) which would allow a Freeman to leave, and it's today been reported by a BBC journalist they've rejected a bid for him.

Thoughts Spirederman?

Looks like we're about to strengthen the defence (about time).

The long transfer saga for Liam Moore sounds to just about be over. Set to have a medical over the weekend and confirmed on a permanent deal early next week.

Also very keen on taking Tyler Blackett in on loan. I think he would be useful cover as he can play both CB and LB (the two main positions we need cover in).

Don't know if it's been mentioned but we've actually got rid of the fraudulent Aussie left back Jason Davidson to Gronigen(sp) on loan with view to a permanent. He's been bloody awful, god knows how he got in the Aussie XI. Worst left back in my time supporting Town.

All we need now is another striker.

Liam Moore confirmed on a four year deal. Rumoured £1m fee.

Finally! Taken forever but we've got our man. Hopefully means today is the last time we will have to play a CM at the heart of our defence. And at 23 and on a four year deal, should bring a bit of longevity into our defence. No more short term stopgaps.

If anything it proves my point that you'd kill to have him hence you inviting him to train with you.

Did you think that through before making yourself look a ****?

Good to see Brayford back in this division.
Never quite worked out for him after he left here, wasted a lot of potential.

Blackett spotted (and confirmed by Stam) to have been watching our game from the stands today. So that one's close.

Keeping Wells is a must for us, won't be going for anything less than £8million.

The lads a class act.

Might be getting Cameron Bothwick Jackson on loan, fair to say I know nothing about him bar he's from Man Utd.

All gone a bit quiet for us atm. Sébastien Haller the only recent link, with "sources" confirming we've made contact over a possible transfer. A big lump of a striker who has scored 30 in 52 for Utrecht.
