Signed some Poland international who is a winger. Could be good, but I dont know much about him. But, we signed a winger and a striker on deadline day, so I am happy with that as they are the 2 positions that we needed badly.

Interesting visual of squad overhauls since the end of last season.

Can take messages from any stat really - Sheff Wed/Brighton haven't changed much so will have decent seasons, ourselves and Villa having a massive overhaul due to the turgid 15/16 squads for example.

Fuck stable squads, I want Wolves to sign 12 blokes every transfer window from now on. Especially if they are wingers. People who think we have two many widemen can eat shit and die.

'all your wingers are belong to us' -

We've got Andy Lonergan, we've got Andy Lonergan, we've got Andy Longergan, we've got Andy Longergan'

That irritates me with our fans, he's been here since January and some fans still call him 'Goldbourne'.

That's quite an impressive stat for us to be fair.

Wednesday fans always seem to struggle to spell Maguire, seen it spelt about 4 different ways. Forestieri is another annoying one.

I was calling him a lot worse than an annoying one the other week. In fairness I still am, great talent for this league, but the greedy bastard, really doesn't know to handle a situation. Think his refusing to play is one of, if not the main reason behind our poor recent form. Typical Wednesday something always goes wrong, just when we see a bit of hope. Hope to see him back to his best and rebuilding bridges with our fans. Lost a lot of respect imo.

Two words.."Will Griggs" :told:
Every time I see some pre-teen on Twitter or some where jumping on the "Will Grigg's on fire" bandwagon, then proceed to call him "Will Griggs", I lose even more hope for humanity. If you're going to be a sheep, don't be a special sheep.

And sell-ons are always on profit. Realistically how much profit are Leipzig going to make from him?

I'd rather have the guarantee of money now, than less now and maybe some later.

There's no way Forest after getting £13M quid for a rookie kid could have got a sell on clause as well.

Football has gone fxxking mad. Players I have barely heard of going for ludicrous amounts, Clubs (namely us) charging ridiculous entrance fees etc.All this down to fxxking sky Tv. Oh for these days of only seeing England matches and the FA cup final live on Tv. Things were alot simpler then, just turn up and stand with your mates and generally a more level playing field. (Thanks Leicester for showing it can still be done, though I believe it will be the last time a "smaller none moneybags" club wins it.) Even alot of support has changed from your working class man to the prawn sandwich brigade. Only good thing is you can now take your kids (if you can afford it) without fear of getting a hammering or chased all over town (fun sometimes). Or is it just me being a grumpy old man?

I don't think it can be entirely blamed on Sky, for a start Leipzig aren't even in England and are still paying ridiculous fees...

True, it just seems its more of a business than a sport nowadays. The money needs sharing out more equally, without a rich chairman doubt we will ever see the likes of Wimbledon in top flight and winning cup again. Wigan did it with a rich (relatively) backer and Burton doing well. But fed up of the rich getting richer and a huge divide being created between the "haves and the have nots" Even parachute payments aren't fair, the clubs got relegated due mainly to bad management and decision making, sometimes bad luck. But are basically rewarded for it, other clubs can't compete. It seems to me that the powers that be want a status quo. If all the so called big teams were in the PL I would expect the moneymen to make it a closed shop with no promotion or relegation. Its not how football should be/was. Maybe its me that's just disillusioned with it all, but today it all seems to be about money.

Would love to see parachute payments scrapped, being given money to go and cherry pick the leagues best players like Villa have done is a joke. Newcastle have even took players off Premier League clubs.

To be honest Brian, most football fans are very similar, the only difference is where our allegiances lie. Read alot of BS about the differences between us and Blades. Really there aren't any we all have our share of intelligent and dickhead fans and we all have loyal and fickle fans. Its just the colour of the shirts and the badge that different. (unless you pinch our old one!)

I hate the blame of parachute payments for everything at this level.

Parachute payments are the solution, not the problem.

The problem is the vast wealth difference between the leagues, if there was a much smaller difference there would be no need for parachute payments.

Definitely but the Premier League is only getting richer, parachute payments just seem like a way of getting a closed shop Premier League, with all the relegated clubs coming back up year after year, due to non one being able to compete.
