Thanks for that opinion but as someone who watches Flint every week he's a good player at this level.

Again, there is PL interest as there was last year, but SF_ said he's fucking shit so....
But you base opinions of Birmingham on assumption and match highlights on Channel 5...

Shame that all the best loanees in the Champ, that most teams would want in their teams, are now of interest to Prem clubs

We're supposedly tracking New York red bulls defender Kemar Lawrence

We're interested in Cork's 22yr old left back, Kevin O'Connor as well, been tracking him longer than Maguire.

It seems there's a few gems in the Irish league if Boyle and Horgan are anything to go by. I'm liking the way we're trying to go about our business, I'm quite optimistic about Maguire aswell.

It's been an excellent source for us for many years.

Preston just seem to be signing the ROI squad.

*Future Ireland Squad (hopefully).

Browne, Horgan and Boyle have only just won their first caps, amazes me that Cunningham hasn't featured for them this season.

Daily Mail has linked us with Graham Dorrans from Norwich, good player but not what we really need, much prefer a Jackson Irvine type.

On the topic of Ireland, any chance someone else could sign John O'Shea before we do.
Three reasons: 1) He's a defender in a team that finished bottom with -40 goal difference. 2) He was captain of that team. 3) He's older than my nan. But not as good in the air.

I hear he's really, really good. No, seriously. Please could someone else sign him.

You can have Doherty too, might cost a few quid mind.

What's the score with him? I see some Wolves fans absolutely slating him and then next I see him being talked about as being highly rated and linked with some decent moves.

Very good attacking fullback who can play LB or RB. He scored 5 for us last season and assisted 7/8. Problem is his defensive duties leave a lot to be desired. Would make more sense turning him into a winger to be honest.

Story of much of the team, to be honest. I have wondered what Doherty provided that Golbourne didn't.

Golbourne's shit, can't believe you got £300k for us out of him, mugged us right off. Offers absolutely nothing in any sense as a full back.

That really surprises me. He used to link up brilliantly with Bakary Sako, and his demise seemed to come with Sako's departure for Palace.

Agree, don't think many Wolves fans will have a bad word to say about Golbourne. Sure he wasn't spectacular but he was a solid 6/7 out of 10 every game for us if I remember.

Then again I remember Bristol City fans didn't rate Cunningham who went to PNE so maybe it's a Bristol thing

To be fair when I was reading the Sunderland forum after their relegation they all spoke highly of him.

One article about the O'Shea link says "Wolves linked with Premier League winner..."
It's believed to be the first time since 1972 that the word 'winner' has been used in the same sentence as the word 'Sunderland'. Sounds ideal for us, then.

That would be funny but they won the cup in 73 :D

John O'Shea would be a terrible signing, If experience was an issue why didn't we keep Mike Williamson instead?

To be fair having read the Sunderland forum at the end of the season they only had positive things to say about him iirc.
