I'm going to put 2+2 together and get 6847. Ronaldo wants to leave Madrid and his agent Jorge Mendes is essentially signing all of our players anyway. £130m is pocket change to Fosun so expect to see CR7 in a Wolves shirt in the coming months. All the pork scratchins he can eat will be a sweetner in the deal.

You need to sign Semedo too for it to happen.

Woke up this morning to find that we're being linked with Kyle Lafferty, JFC.

Was impressed with him everytime I saw him play, quick and tricky wouldn't have minded him at Wednesday this season.

Skills and pace but not a lot of end product I think Mark.

Liam_SWFC any word on whether McManaman is signing permanently for you? We need a winger badly, I'd cream myself if we signed him, as much of a tosser he is.

Phil Jagielka the latest rumour. Believe it when I see it, but not the most unlikely rumour I guess.

Can't see it happening to be honest, was exactly the type of winger we were crying out for last season and Carlos left him on the bench every week. Similar situation to what went on with McGeady, maybe he didn't train up to standard, who knows. Be a brilliant signing for you or anyone in the league, we've been linked with a loan move for Oliver Burke, I would definitely cream myself if that happened.

I thought you couldn't spend due to FFP?
I know you're a properly big club but why on earth would you pay £100K a week to a 'has been'? Absolutely mental IMHO.

We're meant to be selling a fair few, essentially our budget is what we shift. I'd say about 12 players will have been told that they're off. We've already sold Sanchez and released Kozak, probably freeing up £100k+ in wages anyway. Yes, our wage structure was that bad under Randy.

Throw in a flat-bed Transit, a 2 litre 1999 Vauxhall Vectra and a few SuperDry gift vouchers and it's a deal.

Maybe we could offer a player-swap too.

Jed Wallace for Ronaldo. Something like that. And Harry Redknapp's dog can do his tax returns.

Sounds like it mate. Either Johnstone or Bettinelli, can't see us spending £5m on a stopper though.
A few on otib are mentioning Darlow but I can't see that happening or us shelling out £5M on Johnstone, unless it's something like £2M up front and add ons. It looks like Bettinelli TBH.

Darlow I'd be happy with as well, any of them three would be decent signings, but we'll probably end up signing Brad Guzan...

Hey, here's another tenuous link, which is going to make me sound a bit of a tit...

Dad's missus' son is mates with Sam Johnstone, he's just got back from holiday, wants to sign for Villa but Bruce needs to talk to Mourinho.

I admit, this could be bullshit, it could be true, I've no fucking clue.

Karl Darlow swapping St James for Ashton Gate?

Give over.

If, as JJH says, he's been told he can leave ( I didn't know that), surely it would be better to actually play for us rather than sat on his arse in the stands at St James? If he were an older player then he would probably be happy to do nothing and earn but maybe he wants to actually play?
Tenuous I admit but you never know.
I still reckon it's the Fulham bloke anyway.
