If, as JJH says, he's been told he can leave ( I didn't know that), surely it would be better to actually play for us rather than sat on his arse in the stands at St James? If he were an older player then he would probably be happy to do nothing and earn but maybe he wants to actually play?
Tenuous I admit but you never know.
Was reported in the Chronicle this week.

Jjh knows everything about nothing lol
Meaning?

I wasn't doubting you mate, I was in hospital until Tuesday so hadn't heard much TBH.
Good keeper is Darlow to be fair.
Is all well pal? And yeah Darlow is decent, agree with you though I think it'll be Bettinelli, which would still be a cracking signing.

On the mend thanks mate. Sepsis and Pneumonia is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy though.
I had a read about Bettelini on the friends of Fulham site and they don't seem overly bothered if he does leave as they think he 'has a mistake in him'. That sounds familiar.

Wilder said he doesn't want to break the wage structure at United, can't see him rocking up and being happy at being on the same money as Leon Clarke.

We have signed Roderick Miranda, a defender from Rio Ave. Know next to nothing about him to be honest

I signed him on Football Manger some years ago, in which he helped me win the Champions League with Millwall if memory serves. I will be disappointed if he is anything but magnificent.

I hear Carey is off to a Championship club and that it will be announced which club when the deal is signed.

Anyone know any inside info into which club?

Good enough for the Championship you reckon?

Jake Bidwell is off to Forest, according to QPR message boards. Average defender so not fussed either way with this. Will do a job but he is not an attacking full back.

Wolves sign Phil Ofosu Ayeh, a Ghanian right back who has played in Germany for is entire career to date.

Pity we didn't get Roderick for free, too. We could have chanted "Fwee Wodewick!" at him. Not that he would have got it. Life of Brian was probably before he was born.

According to transfermarkt.com, of 34 league games last season, young Phil was injured for no less than 12 of them. And not in the team for a further six games. Not sure if he'll be given a squad number or a 'Nil by Mouth' placard.

High praise indeed. Hope El Nuño can bring out the best in him the way you did.

Cool, we're all signing has-been past England defenders.

And Ghanaian and Portuguese.

Edit: Discovered our new Ghanaian international played just the once, in a friendly against those titans of football Canada. Two years ago. And he didn't start. Not so much a has-been as never-really-was-in-the-first-place.

Edit: Seems Roderick only played for the Portuguese U20 team, until 7 years ago. Hasn't played for the big boys team at all.

73 rated on FIFA m8, must be quality...

Hopefully this is alongside Janko, be happy with them two right back options, then get Vyner back out on loan.

30 years old, takes the pressure off Zac and gives him another couple of seasons to progress. If he's any good, this might be a goer.

Conor McLaughlin of Fleetwood out of contract, Fleetwood have withdrawn their contract offer as he's apparently off to a Championship club. Hope it's back to us.

Was plenty good and attacking for us. Would have had him back if he'd have accepted reasonable wages, except Rico Henry is much better.

Quite shocked to see Sunderland got people looking to buy it
Not really, parachute payments, history of success and been in the top flight as recently as May, reasonably new stadium, big fanbase....

A bit of perspective, Real Madrid receive €80M for winning the Champions league, Sunderland receive £99.2M for finishing bottom of the Premier league according to the Mail.
