Fair few of them were sub cameos.

Oh dear, what's upset you now?
A player who throws a tantrum every year is leaving and the fee we are getting is almost exactly what we paid for him and in the year in between he spent most of the time doing bugger all.

He is quality at times, but, much like JET and Jackie before him, he is his own worst enemy when it comes to his career.
If Cardiff get the Tomlin we had on loan, they have made a great signing, if they get the Tomlin of last year then LJ, Ashton and SL will be laughing for the next 3 years
It's "upset" me that we might be letting our best player go to our local rivals.

If we had a good manager he would accommodate him and get the best out of him.

A few of our fans are saying he'll fall out with Warnock but Karanka is far more fiery than Warnock and he absolutely loved Tomlin.

I cannot stand Warnock and will never ever hide this. To the point that regardless of how City were doing I would not attend, whereas under almost any other manager (there are one or two others in the same group as Warnock) I would watch City even if we were in the Southern League.

BUT I will say Warnock seemed to (from memory) handle Taraabt fairly well, and he's another sulky player. Of course every person is different but football managers have to back themselves to do things in general and Warnock would be as good a bet as any to get the best out of Tomlin.

Warnock is still a tosser though
Have I ever mentioned that Warnock is a hook nosed widow twanky, Mrs Doubtfire wannabe shit pig bastard?

LJ probably hasn't handled Tomlin ideally, but how you attribute no blame to Tomlin himself is laughable.
The bloke has fallena out with managers almost everywhere he has been. He could be more than the player that he is, but HE holds himself back.
Add to that he is on circa 20k a week then I'm not concerned by him leaving at all. For that money he has to be consistent.
For us that is hefty wages which can be put to better use.

Its definitely happening, rumour is around £2.8m which (if true) tbh is daylight robbery for a player who showed up around 1 in every 5 appearances. The fee and his wages can go towards a player who will actually fit our system rather than trying to fit a failing system around 1 player.

Tomlin is an utter twat when he gets himself a cushy permanent contract, wouldn't want him anywhere near our squad.

Fuck paying that much for him. Could no doubt get far better value abroad. Can't see us improving his wages either with us offering current players reduced terms. Funny you mention systems as I can't see where he would fit in with us if he does sign. Unless he is being brought in to replace Whittingham.
I give it until the end of the month before either Tomlin or Warnock will have sparked the other out.

You've just done off with Lambert so maybe that's where his wages are coming from?

Think Lambert was only on 20k here, he took a massive drop when he joined us. We have saved 50k+ a week in wages since the end of the season mind so who knows. Warnock hasn't let us down yet but I'm still sceptical about it. Still he was the only one that got Adel Taarabt playing well...

Read that he'd trimmed down a bit so isn't much of a fat prick anymore? Anyay if it's happening don't expect it to be done soon, we have a habit lately of dragging these things out.

Probably did that just because he knew other clubs were interested in him. I don't think he'll still be at Cardiff by the start of next season in my opinion.

Only two strikers in our squad, and we find out today that Yann Kermorgant is going to miss the start of the season after having hip and groin surgery.

And on that note, all of our targets went up 10% in transfer value.. in an already massively over-inflated position.

Wolves will probably sell us Nouha Dicko for £7.65m

Probably won't even sign for us at the end of all this!

In other news Hull offered us £5 million for Kenneth Zohore. Only £10 million short lads..

If/when Tomlin joins he will start off amazing. Once he is loved he will be lazy again.

I was going to say I'd hope he'd have better taste than that, but then I remembered who he may be joining from.
MEEAAAOOOOWWW bitch! At least we don't have the city and county of Newport to apologise for.
When are you lot going for independence FFS?

Just to add onto this, the two strikers we are taking on our pre-season tour have a lower combined age than Yann..

Oh trust me, everyone else in Wales hates Newport as well. It's a stain on our glorious nation and when we go to war with Russia I hope it's their first target! We'll never be independent either, we enjoy the handouts too much. ;)

They won't aim for Newport, they'll assume they've already nuked it

Britt Assombalonga to Boro for 14 million and 60k a week?

Bold move - not sure Forest fans will be happy selling him to a fellow Championship club though.
